High school history teachers in ethnic areas actively participate in scientific research activities and become research-oriented history teachers,which is the inevitable requirement of high school curriculum reform and the development of high school history curriculum reform in China.High school history teachers in ethnic areas can achieve their own professional growth,improve the quality of education and teaching,and ultimately promote the all-round development of students by carrying out educational research,which has also been a consensus in the academic community.Based on this,by using the methods of questionnaire survey,literature analysis and interview,this paper investigates the scientific research status of history teachers in five high schools in Guangxi minority areas,which can provide reference for improving the scientific research ability of history teachers in high schools in minority areas,and provide improvement strategies for relevant education administrative departments,So as to conform to the trend of high school history curriculum reform and development.The survey found that there are still a series of problems in the current scientific research activities of high school history teachers in ethnic areas,such as less scientific research practice,utilitarian purpose,lack of time and energy for scientific research,and low scientific research ability,which make it difficult to achieve innovative results.The university does not pay enough attention to it,and lacks the reward mechanism and the conditions for scientific research.The administrative departments of the government did not introduce high-level talents,lead the educational research work,lack of relevant mechanisms,and few scientific research projects for high school history education.To solve these problems,we can start from three aspects:teachers,schools and relevant educational administrative departments.For example,teachers should deepen the awareness of promoting teaching by research,strengthen the study of relevant knowledge and theories,and deal with the relationship between scientific research and teaching;Colleges and universities can establish scientific research cooperation linkage mechanism,improve scientific research reward mechanism and hardware facilities;Government departments can increase capital investment in schools,encourage high school history teachers to carry out local historical and cultural research,implement talent introduction policies,give play to the leading role of education,science and technology institutes,improve the scientific research level of high school history teachers in minority areas,make them participate in the propaganda and research of four histories,and increase the evaluation qualification of teachers and schools based on scientific research achievements To guide high school history teachers to participate in museum construction.
