Mind mapping is a radioactive thinking tool,since it has been introduced to China in 1980 s,attracted great attention from the education field.Under the background of core literacy in history subject were constantly deepened in educational field,students were required reading the relevant historical materials and combined their knowledge,which is based the understanding of objective historical objects such as time,object,institution and so on,summarizing its essential attributes to forming historical concept.As an instrument of knowledge representation,mind mapping is capable of converting relevant complex information to diagram form that is multilevel and dynamic to show the connotations and extensions of historical concept,present the process and impact in historical fact in clearly,help students figure out the context of relevant history concept,and form their own comprehension and elucidation for the essence and law of historical things to cultivate their ability of historical interpretation.Meanwhile,utilizing the mind mapping can stimulate their imagination and creativity,which is beneficial for them to construct knowledge architecture in a subtle way,make them are able to draw inferences in the course of studying history,forming connective cognition by the knowledge all around and combining with historical concept pre and post to form knowledge generating ability.The current situation of mind mapping applied to historical concept education after in research,in the form of interview and questionaire survey understanding of the Huzhou Z middle school history teachers and students to the understanding of mind mapping applied to historical concept,combining the teaching practice,put forward teaching strategies,and cite teaching cases for analysis its application.
