It is pointed out in the "Outline for the Construction of a Sports Power" that the comprehensive strength of competitive sports should be improved,the ability to win glory for the country should be enhanced,and the popularization and improvement of basketball,football and volleyball should be comprehensively promoted.Volleyball,as the dominant item in the three big balls in China,has made brilliant achievements.However,looking back on the development history of volleyball in China,there is also a period when the reserve talents are in short supply.Campus volleyball,as an important position of volleyball reserve talent training,is of great significance to the development of volleyball in China.This paper takes Chengdu volleyball sports association and the development of campus volleyball in Wuhou district middle school of Chengdu in 2018 and 2020 as the research object.Through the questionnaire survey method,interview method,field survey method and so on,this paper investigates and studies the basic situation of middle school volleyball teachers in Wuhou district,the change of school's support for volleyball,the change of school volleyball class,and the specific situation of Chengdu volleyball association promoting the development of middle school campus volleyball in the aspects of organizing matches,training coaches,volleyball activity month,publicity,foreign exchanges and cooperation.Through the new perspective of volleyball association and study its role in middle school volleyball development can provide theoretical basis for the popularization of campus volleyball in other areas.Through investigation and research,the main conclusions are as follows:1.Chengdu volleyball sports association has played an important role in the development of campus volleyball in Chengdu middle schools by holding diversified campus volleyball matches,organizing volleyball activity months,organizing high-quality campus volleyball coaches' training,strengthening the professional ability of campus volleyball referees,promoting campus volleyball in Chengdu through multiple channels,and actively exchanging and cooperating with foreign countries.2.The gender ratio,age structure,educational background composition and professional title structure of volleyball teachers in middle schools in Wuhou district are reasonable,the proportion of volleyball teachers is slightly lower,and the teachers have a high interest in volleyball.3.Wuhou district Middle School's support for volleyball sports has been improved,which is mainly reflected in the improvement of the support of school leaders,the increase of volleyball field equipment,the increase of volleyball teachers,the increase of volleyball clubs,the increase of the proportion of schools that organize teachers to participate in training,the increase of schools' attention to volleyball after-school training,and the increase of the number of competitions.4.The teaching situation of volleyball lesson in Wuhou district Middle School is obviously improved,which is mainly manifested in the increase of the proportion of volleyball lesson,the increase of the number of volleyball lesson hours,the increase of the number of schools that draw up the teaching syllabus of volleyball lesson,the diversification of the teaching content and the diversification of the teaching objectives of volleyball lesson.
