Probability and statistics are both quantitative studies of the regularity of random phenomena,is an important module in high school mathematics teaching,the probability and statistical problem solving ability can reflect the degree of students' mastery and application of this part of knowledge.This paper uses literature analysis,actual research and access method,SOLO classification(SOLO taxonomy)(abbreviated as SOLO),what is basis on the structure of probability and statistics "observed learning results ",the original meaning is "the observed structure of student probability and statistical problem solving level ".)to evaluate students' behavior in probabilistic and statistical problem solving activities.To analyze students' thinking level(divided into five levels: Prestructural level(P)?Unistructural level(U)?Multistructural level(M)?Relational level(R)and Extended abstract level(E).Through research,It can be found that:There is a positive correlation between students' ability to solve problems and the application of students' problem solving strategies(in which the ability to solve problems can be measured by the SOLO classification level,For example,if students can flexibly solution strategies to answer,students are at the level M).The students have a high positive answer rate and a speed to solve problems before solving the structural level.The results show that the current high school students' ability to solve problems is at the level of R(correlation structure);In the classroom of the first line teachers under the current teaching system,most of the classroom introduction is direct introduction,the explanation of knowledge points is "single knife straight in ",ignoring students' ability and interest cultivation,can not arouse students' resonance to the thought of paying attention to practical connection in the new teaching material,and the practice of self study class still has the tendency of " inscription tactics ";According to the test results of probability and statistical test paper,the strategies of solving this part of the problem mainly include: step by step classification strategy,enumeration number strategy,number form combination strategy,stereotype qualitative strategy,function consciousness strategy and comprehensive recursion strategy,in which 35.7% of the students use stereotype qualitative strategy and 28.5% use step by step classification strategy,which becomes the most commonly used strategy for problem solving;In view of the problems found in the research,the following teaching suggestions can be put forward: in the teaching process of probability and statistics,teachers should pay attention to infiltrating the random concept of students,guide students to grasp the model of probability and statistics,and deeply understand the relevant knowledge concepts.Pay attention to the combination of theory and practice.
