A Study On Obstacles And Strategies Of Rural Social Assistance In The Perspective Of Social Work

As an important part of social security system,social assistance plays an irreplaceable role in eliminating poverty and stabilizing society.The purpose of social work is to provide the services needed for the sick,the elderly,and the poor,so as to improve the living standard and quality of life of the vulnerable groups,and to improve their happiness and sense of acquisition.Social work and social assistance are often closely linked and inseparable.At present,the content of social assistance pays more attention to material help.However,the diverse needs for assisted objects are difficult to be satisfied and social work has little effect in social assistance.Therefore,in order to more deeply understand the important role of social work in rural social assistance,the thesis adopts the methods of questionnaire and interview and puts forward practicable suggestions for the facing problems of rural social assistance.This paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the background and significance of this research,and introduces the main research methods and ideas.The second chapter is the literature review and related concept definition and theoretical basis.Solve some problems existing in rural social assistance through the theory of advantage perspective and the theory of power enhancement.The third chapter is an empirical survey on the current situation of the region,including questionnaire survey and interview.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the problems existing in the rural social assistance in this area,including the lack of funding sources,insufficient publicity and cognition of the assistance policies,unscientific design of the assistance system,difficulty in accurately identifying the assistance objects,and the lack of social work concepts.The fifth chapter mainly aimed at the problems existing in the rescue put forward the corresponding countermeasures,including: expand the source of funds,strengthen propaganda to carry out the policy concept,improve the relief works,accurate identification,strengthening the rural poverty groups concept into the countermeasure of social assistance,social work provides feasible Suggestions for further development of rural social assistance.The last chapter is the summary and reflection of this paper.
