With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform,the entire book reading has become the research object of many front-line teachers,experts and scholars.In the whole book reading teaching process,it is inevitable to evaluate the students’ reading ability of the whole book.Therefore,which evaluation method to choose in actual teaching has become a problem worthy of discussion and research.Formative evaluation,as an evaluation method that can understand the reading situation and reading ability of students in a timely manner,can not only play a positive role in improving the reading ability of students throughout the book,but also achieve the purpose of promoting teaching by evaluation,so that teachers can fully on the basis of understanding the academic situation,further improve the reading teaching of the whole book.As a kind of formative evaluation,the portfolio evaluation method can make full use of its own advantages in actual evaluation,and give full play to the positive role of formative evaluation in the teaching of reading the whole book.Teachers can promote the all-round development of students by paying attention to the reading process,and students can also improve their own evaluation,reading and reflection abilities by participating in evaluation.This research uses literature method and survey research method as the main research methods.It aims to improve students’ reading ability of the whole book by adding required reading lists,self-selected reading lists evaluation sheets and reflection sheets to the whole book reading portfolio of junior high school.And the teaching ability of teachers can better promote the rapid development of the whole book reading in actual teaching.This article is divided into the following five parts:The first part: introduction.This part mainly explains the background,significance and current research status of this research at home and abroad.The second part: investigation and main problems of the implementation status of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school.This chapter mainly discusses the current situation and existing problems of junior high school Chinese teachers’ implementation of the entire book reading file through investigation,and analyzes the causes of related problems,so as to make sufficient preparations for further research.The third part: the implementation basis of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school.This chapter mainly starts from the characteristics and functions of the portfolio evaluation method,analyzes the function of the entire book reading portfolio in junior high school,and lays the foundation for the implementation of the entire book reading portfolio.The fourth part: the creation of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school.This chapter starts from the analysis of the feasibility and advantages of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school,proposes specific creation principles,and explains the specific content and creation steps of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school.The fifth part: the implementation of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school.This chapter takes "Jane Eyre" as an example to elaborate on the implementation process and implementation effects of the whole book reading portfolio in junior high school,and summarizes the experience based on the implementation effects and reflects on the deficiencies,and further proposes improvement strategies.
