The significance of reading the whole book has attracted the attention of the majority of educators, but the teachers in the actual guidance of students to read the process, appears to be powerless, little effect. In teaching practice, the author found that changing students' bad psychological reading, cultivate pupils reading willpower is a feasible way to improve the efficiency of the whole book to read,so this article by "reading" willpower as the breakthrough point,to line the teacher trains the student to read the whole book will provide certain theoretical basis and practical guidance, which is more scientific and effective to guide students to read the whole book. The introduction part of this paper explains that the reason for selecting this topic lies in the contradiction between the clear requirements of the curriculum standard and the textbook compiled by the department for pupils to read the whole book and the psychological contradictions of pupils' fear, tiredness and even boredom in reading the whole book.Through the literature review,it is found that the previous studies on willpower are relatively detailed, but there is a lack of research on "willpower to read the whole book",so the concept of "willpower to read the whole book for primary school students" is proposed. The first chapter explains the connotation of "willpower for reading the whole book".The effect of good reading willpower is to improve the consciousness of reading, improve the utilization of time, and improve the continuity of reading. In the process of reading the whole book,it is necessary to use the reading willpower. At the same time,it also promotes the development of reading willpower in the process of reading the whole book. The two go hand in hand, and reading willpower can develop throughout the course of a book. The second chapter analyzes the current situation of pupils' willpower in reading the whole book.Primary school students have three problems in reading the whole book.First, they are unwilling to read, taking reading as a chore and lack of motivation in reading.Second, there is no concept of reading goals, what to read, how to read, regardless of the lack of reading goals; The third is the strong randomness of reading, not to develop a good reading circulation system, reading persistence is insufficient. The third chapter summarizes the reasons why the pupils' willpower is weak throughout the book.Excessive audiovisual impact of primary school students' willpower;Fragmentation of reading destroys the "integrity" of the book; The lack of teachers' understanding of how to cultivate students' reading willpower and the misplacement of family education lead to the lack of students' reading willpower. The fourth chapter puts forward the practice of cultivating pupils' willpower in reading the whole book. The cultivation of pupils' reading willpower in the whole book starts with the cultivation of students' reading motivation, which is driven by different reading tasks in different years, and the maintenance and consolidation of pupils' reading willpower by the reinforcement theory. The fifth chapter carries on the case analysis to the pupil whole book reading willpower cultivation practice. From the four steps of case description, reason analysis, solution and reflective experience, this paper analyzes two individual cases of students in grade one and grade six,in order to provide some experience for teachers. The conclusion points out that the essence of cultivating pupils' willpower to read the whole book is to put the focus of reading teaching back on the students, and to make clear "why to read" by stimulating their reading motivation.Use reading task-driven to clarify "how to read";It is a feasible way to improve students' reading ability to cultivate their reading willpower by revising "how to read" through strengthening theory.
