| As an important resource of teaching and learning,teaching materials are widely concerned by educators at home and abroad.In the Curriculum Standard for Senior Mathematics(2017 Edition),it is emphasized that "the compilation of mathematics textbooks should run through the main line of developing students’ mathematics core literacy,and highlight the integration of content and mathematics core literacy".Mathematical abstract literacy is one of the six core literacy of mathematics.It is a key step to systematically study its representation in high school mathematics textbooks.Through the reference and thinking of the existing research,combined with the background of the current textbook compilation driven by literacy,this paper refers to the level division framework of mathematical abstract literacy in the Curriculum Standard for Senior Mathematics(2017 Edition),divides the representation of mathematical abstraction into four aspects and three levels,and establishes the textbook analysis framework.Using this framework,the function theme content of four editions of textbooks is coded.After data processing and analysis,the following conclusions are obtained:First,in the four aspects of mathematical abstraction,the subject content of function in the four versions of textbooks mainly reflects the literacy characteristics of level one and level two,while the content of level three is relatively less.Second,from the level of mathematical abstraction,the four versions of textbooks have the highest level in "knowledge and skills",followed by "thinking and expression",the third in "situation and problem",and the lowest in "communication and reflection".From the perspective of different versions of textbooks,in terms of "situation and problem",the textbooks of Jiangsu Education Press have the highest level,while the textbooks of Shanghai Education Press have the lowest level.In terms of "knowledge and skills",the textbooks of Beijing Normal University Press have the highest level and those of People Education Press have the lowest level.In terms of "thinking and expression",the textbooks of Jiangsu Education Press have the highest level and those of Shanghai Education Press have the lowest level.In terms of "communication and reflection",the textbooks of People Education Press have the highest level,while those of Shanghai Education Press have the lowest level.According to the research results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on "how to better infiltrate the content of cultivating students’ mathematical abstract literacy in the function theme of high school textbooks in China",trying to provide help for further improving the compilation of function theme content in high school mathematics textbooks in China. |
