The Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in“Suspension of Classes and Non-Study” in Primary and Secondary Schools, which pointed out that it is necessary to combine teachers' online guidance and students' autonomous learning,to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability. In the post-epidemic era,Online learning is a test of students' autonomous learning ability. The primary school is the basic stage for students' autonomous learning ability. If pupils develop good autonomous learning habits,it will be helpful for future.Considering that the autonomous learning ability exists cultivation process,Through the primary and middle grades learning in elementary school, some students have had some understanding about autonomous learning, and are able to read and fill the questionnaire.the high grades students' independent learning ability in online and offline teaching is the subject of this research. This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research to divide autonomous learning into five dimensions: learning motivation, learning time, learning methods, learning environment, and learning results.87 teachers and 705 students in the fifth and sixth grades of urban and rural primary schools in Wan Zhou District were investigated, and some teachers and students were interviewed.Use the software SPSS to analyze the survey results, find out the existing problems and analyze the causes,to put forward solutions for the cultivation of the students' autonomous learning ability in the high grade of primary school.By sorting out and analyzing the collected data, this study found that the overall self-learning ability of students is at a good level, and they have a strong learning interest and initiative.Existing problems include: poor self-evaluation and reinforcement abilities of students, weak awareness of active review, weak time planning ability, poor initiative of students to communicate with others during online learning, and high autonomous learning ability of urban students. For rural students, the development of autonomous learning ability influenced by gender differences and the education level of their parents. This study analyzes the causes of the problems found in above survey, which are mainly manifested in the following aspects: the first one is the lack of self-evaluation and strengthening awareness of students in the upper elementary school;the second one is the lack of effective review strategies for teachers to guide;the third one is the lack of time management awareness and ability;fourth, insufficient classroom interaction between teachers and students in online teaching;fifth, gender differences in the physical and mental development of students;sixth, parents' own literacy is affected by their academic qualifications. In response to above problems, and to cultivate students' independent learning capacity, this research proposes solutions from three aspects. For students: to improve self-evaluation ability, conducting self-reinforcement training, and actively engaging in cooperative learning in multiple aspects. For teachers: to guide students to master effective review strategies,to guide students to formulate learning time plans,to create an interactive online learning atmosphere, and to pay attention to student development based on gender differences. For parents: to improve their own literacy,to promote the development of students' autonomous learning ability,to create a good family learning environment.
