Primary school mathematics textbook has a long-term and phased nature.It can reflect the ideology of mathematics education,and it can be used as one of the standards to measure the quality of primary school mathematics education.Textbook difficulty assessment can evaluate the quality of textbooks,help teachers master the curriculum and teaching difficulty,and determine the difficulty of students learning mathematics."Number and operation" is an important content in the primary school mathematics curriculum,and it is also a basic part of citizens' mathematics literacy.This research divides the development of primary school mathematics textbooks in my country since the reform and opening up into three historical periods.Select a set of primary school mathematics textbooks from various periods as the research object.Through literature research method,text analysis method,historical research method and comparative research method,apply the linear model of mathematics textbook difficulty,that is N(28)0.30C(10)0.36W(10)0.34 E.Starting with nine influencing factors in the three dimensions of content difficulty,example difficulty,and exercise difficulty,the content of "number and operation" in the three sets of textbooks is analyzed and compared.Through research,it is found that the overall difficulty coefficient of the "number and operation" content in the textbook in 1978 is 0.6431.The overall difficulty coefficient of the "number and operation" content in the textbook in 1994 is 0.6070.The overall difficulty of the "number and operation" content in the textbook in 2012 The degree of difficulty is0.6267.The content of elementary school mathematics textbooks should be continuously reformed.It has the characteristics of the times and helps improve the quality of teaching.The sample questions of elementary school mathematics textbooks should strive for a harmonious unity of science and acceptability.The exercises of elementary school mathematics textbooks should organically combine "learning" with "use".Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward for the compilation of mathematics textbooks.The content of textbooks should be adapted to the needs of society and a reasonable textbook structure should be established.The sample questions in the textbook emphasize inspiring thinking and cultivate students' learning ability.The compilation of exercises in textbooks should be in various forms,and the requirements should be gradually increased.
