History education plays an important role in improving the humanistic qualities of junior high school students.The history curriculum at the compulsory education level is the promotion of the national spirit with patriotism as the core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core under the guidance of the materialist view of history,and is the process of passing on human civilization and excellent traditions,so that students can understand and know the development of human society and better understand contemporary China and the world today in the learning process.Among them,the illustrations of cultural relics in history textbooks,as one of the important mediums of teaching,have unique research value.From its quantity,the illustrations of cultural relics account for two-thirds of the total number of textbook pictures,and from its qualitative point of view,the illustrations of cultural relics are a bridge between the textbook text and historical events,an important carrier for students to learn historical knowledge,and have great research value and research significance in the process of teaching history in junior high school.Taking textbook heritage illustrations as the research object,the literature research method,data compilation method,content analysis method,questionnaire survey method,qualitative-quantitative analysis method,and case study method are used to combine theory and practice.Heritage illustrations are teaching illustrations that reflect historical artifacts in history textbooks,which are visual picture representations of history.It has the characteristics of intuitiveness,typicality,empathy and appreciation,and has its own historical research value and its importance in teaching materials is self-evident.The use of artifact illustrations in teaching is conducive to enriching and improving the history classroom,enhancing teachers' professionalism,stimulating students' interest in learning history,fostering students' historical thinking and gradually enhancing national pride.The concept,characteristics,and role of cultural heritage illustrations are explained,and then the use of cultural heritage illustrations in junior high school history teaching is studied,and specific solutions for their use are proposed in relation to reality.The feasible suggestions for the use of heritage illustrations are applied to the actual teaching process by creating historical contexts,enriching teaching methods,developing teaching resources,increasing teachers' richness in learning about heritage illustrations,and cultivating students' interest and ability to actively interpret heritage illustrations.The study makes teachers and students aware of the indispensable role of heritage illustrations in textbooks and draws attention to them.As an important teaching aid,historical illustrations can help students develop a sense of historical identity,pride in traditional culture,and a sense of honor for the prosperity and strength of the motherland in the process of learning illustrations.Through the study of historical illustrations,students can develop historical thinking and ability,learn to observe and think about society and life from a historical perspective,draw wisdom and nutrition from historical illustrations,and gradually establish a correct world view,outlook on life and values,improve overall quality,and get all-round development.
