Based on the characteristics of probability and Statistics Knowledge in Senior High School,this paper studies the students' typical learning difficulties in probability and statistics learning from the perspective of their cognitive level,and analyzes the causes of these difficulties,combined with metacognition theory,this paper puts forward some suggestions to solve the typical learning difficulties of senior high school students in learning probability and statistics.The main contents of the paper are as follows:This study focuses on the typical learning difficulties of science students in probability and statistics learning and their causes.By analyzing the literature,combining the daily teaching and homework situation,the author found out the students' typical learning difficulties in cognition,and worked out a questionnaire,according to the data of the questionnaire and the answers to the questions,this paper makes an attributional analysis on the typical learning difficulties of the students in the study of probability statistics.The findings of the survey indicated that the following typical learning difficulties existed in the study of probability statistics among senior high school students:1.The influence of teachers on students' learning of probability statistics mainly includes the following types: first,the design of teaching situation is not reasonable;second,the influence of external factors such as college entrance examination and examination mechanism on teachers' teaching planning,third,the treatment of mathematics experiment in the course is not appropriate;2.As far as students' cognition is concerned,students' typical learning difficulties in learning probability and statistics are mainly manifested in five aspects: First,difficulties in representing key words,concepts and formulas;and second,difficulties in distinguishing and analyzing conceptual formulas;third,it is difficult to construct the probability statistical model;fourth,it is lack of critical thinking ability and onesided thinking;fifth,it is difficult to meta-cognitive knowledge and meta-cognitive monitoring.From the perspective of students' cognitive level,this paper analyzes the reasons for the difficulties mentioned above,mainly as follows:The students' cognitive ability is not perfect,their dialectical thinking is not mature,their ability to raise,analyze and solve problems is not comprehensive,and they can not adjust and reflect on the problems in the process of learning probability and statistics in time,furthermore,it can not transfer to the same kind of problems,which makes the process of learning probability statistics blind and impulsive,and reduces the efficiency and possibility of success.I hope that through this study,we can help teachers to understand the students in high school students in the learning probability statistics of learning difficulties.According to the students' problems,we can adjust the teachers' teaching timely and pertinently to improve the students' learning ability and mathematics core quality.
