National identity is the identity of citizens of a country to their motherland's historical and cultural traditions,moral values,ideals and beliefs,national sovereignty and so on.It is an important national consciousness and the core force that maintains the existence and development of a country.The adolescence is a critical period for the formation and development of individual identity consciousness.In today's globalization and modernization,it has important theoretical significance and reality to explore the national identity of Mongolian high school students and to further strengthen their national identity according to the needs of the times and social development.National identity is a concept with a relatively broad scope.Based on the theory of"matching theory",this article divides national identity into two aspects:approving national identity and belonging national identity.The research dimensions are divided into six specific dimensions:Chinese ethnic community identity,political party identity,legal identity,territorial identity,historical identity,and traditional cultural identity.240 Mongolian high school students in Inner Mongolia are the subjects of investigation,mainly through questionnaires and interviews.On the basis of discussing the status quo,main problems and influencing factors of Mongolian high school students' national identity,and further put forward relevant countermeasures to strengthen their national identity.The findings of this paper are as follows:the age of the respondents and the presence or absence of Han peer groups have significant differences in their approving national identity;the gender of the respondents has significant differences in the attribution of national identity;the Chinese proficiency of the respondents is in the national identity There is no significant impact on this aspect;on the whole,the national identity of Mongolian high school students has a higher degree of identity in terms of approval identity and belonging identity,which may be related to the historical accumulation,cultural integration and the effective implementation of national policies and systems related.However,there are still areas to be strengthened in understanding the actual situation of the operation of the social system,the initiative of understanding Chinese traditional culture,and the sense of historical pride.This may be due to the single theme of school education and the lack of family education.Therefore,The author believes that parents should correctly guide their children and improve family education methods;schools should create a good campus atmosphere and establish a sound curriculum system;society should promote the excellent traditional culture of China and enhance the exchanges between the Mongolian and Han people.Since the theoretical basis of this article is relatively simple and the sample size involved is limited,it is inevitable that it lacks a comprehensive consideration when discussing related issues and influencing factors.
