Chemistry is underpinned by experiment.Inquiry experimental teaching is an important part of high school chemistry experimental teaching,but also an important way to reflect the core quality of chemistry subjects.With the reform of the new curriculum,the inquiry-type experimental teaching has been paid more and more attention by researchers.Especially in recent years,it is advocated to develop quality education rapidly,aiming at cultivating students’ scientific literacy and innovation consciousness,while these can not be separated from inquiry-based experimental teaching.Although this hot spot has been the common concern of teachers and students,the specific implementation still has many problems,especially in the economically underdeveloped and poorly educated areas which with poor natural environment.Based on the example of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County in Tianshui City,Gansu Province,this paper designs the teacher questionnaire and the student questionnaire to investigate the current situation of chemical inquiry experimental teaching in three high schools in the county.Based on the problems found in the survey,teaching strategies are proposed,and teaching practices are carried out on the teaching strategies.Under the guidance of constructivism,discovery learning and other theories,in the face of the current situation of low efficiency of chemical inquiry-based experimental teaching,the corresponding teaching strategy is put forward to provide reference for high school chemistry teachers to carry out experimental design,so as to promote the development of students’ inquiry ability and innovative consciousness.In this paper,the concepts of chemical experiment,exploratory experiment and exploratory experimental teaching are defined,and the current situation of research on inquiry experimental teaching and the practice of different inquiry experimental teaching modes are combined.On this basis,the research purpose and significance of this study are determined and the ideas and methods of this study are established.The questionnaire survey method and interview method were used to investigate the current situation of exploratory experimental teaching in this area.After the survey,the data was processed,the problems found in the questionnaire were analyzed and summarized,and the results of the survey were attributed based on the content of the interview.Under the guidance of constructivism and inquiry teaching theory,the pre-class preparation,classroom implementation and post-class reflection in the experimental teaching of high school chemistry inquiry are designed.And also put forward the the teaching flow chart,this flow chart is mainly divided into six steps,first of all,through the creation of situations to determine the main issues of this section,and according to the problem to allow students to learn independently to master the basic content of this lesson.Then the group-work to explore,the main content of which is the design of the experimental scheme or the design of the improved experimental scheme on the basis of the original experiment,after which the teacher guides the students to summarize the experiment and learn the experimental principles.Then the teacher arranges the problems related to the content of this section for migration application and finally,combined with the migration knowledge,summarizes and reflects on the considerations in the experiment.After proposing this teaching strategy,the teacher applied it to his own teaching,and listed his typical cases in the course of teaching implementation to show the teaching results,to test the operability and effect of the proposed teaching flow chart.Research shows that teachers use this teaching flow chart in actual classrooms to carry out inquiry-based experimental teaching to students.On the basis of improving students’ academic performance,they can also improve students’ interest in learning and their ability to explore independently.In the group cooperation experimental exploration can also cultivate the student’s group cooperation ability and the student’s innovation ability.When faced with specific problems,students can solve practical problems through independent inquiry,and gradually establish students’ sense of independent inquiry.This also reflects the core of educational reform----Develop quality teaching so as to cultivate students’ core literacy in chemistry and promote students’ all-round development.
