Classical Chinese is the mother tongue of the Chinese nation.It is also the cultural essence inherited from thousands of years.Learning classical Chinese is of great significance to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive literacy.With the deepening of the reform of college entrance examination,Chinese teachers pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ learning ability,and the classical Chinese examination questions of college entrance examination gradually shift from the examination of students’ mastery of knowledge to the examination of students’ learning ability.However,according to the current situation of Chinese teaching in senior high school,the overall ability of students in classical Chinese learning is insufficient,so how to improve classical Chinese teaching and enhance students’ learning ability is an urgent problem for Chinese teachers.This paper summarizes the students’ learning ability of classical Chinese by sorting out and analyzing the contents of the college entrance examination questions over the years.At the same time,combined with my teaching practice experience in Anshan No.3 middle school,this paper tries to put forward some specific countermeasures to improve the students’ learning ability of classical Chinese.This paper mainly includes four parts: the first part is the introduction,including the research background and significance,domestic research status,research methods,research characteristics and innovative analysis;In the second part,through the on-the-spot investigation of some teachers and students in Anshan No.3 middle school,we can understand the real situation of students’ learning ability in classical Chinese;In the third part,through the analysis of the survey data,it summarizes the students’ insufficient ability in six aspects: word interpretation,grammar knowledge,key sentence extraction,article segmentation,text translation and cultural knowledge,and explores the causes from the two levels of teachers and students;The fourth part is the analysis of the problems in the third part,and puts forward some teaching strategies,such as strengthening the teaching of words,strengthening the study of grammar,strengthening the extraction of positioning sentences,strengthening the training of context,strengthening the control of text,and strengthening the accumulation of cultural knowledge.It is hoped that this study can provide a useful reference for the teaching of classical Chinese,so as to promote students’ learning ability of classical Chinese.
