| In my country,"The Ordinary High School Physics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" puts forward the core literacy of physics,including "physical concept","scientific thinking","scientific inquiry" and "scientific attitude and responsibility".At the same time,"scientific reasoning" is regarded as one of the important elements of "scientific thinking",and the important role of scientific reasoning ability in physics is emphasized.The measurement of "scientific reasoning ability" is the basic work of research.At present,LCTSR scientific reasoning scale is used to measure "scientific reasoning ability" in China’s education field,which fails to go into the different requirements of different subject situations.At present,the measurement of "scientific reasoning ability" mostly uses the LCTSR scientific reasoning scale in the education field,which does not dug into various disciplines.To summarize,this research has developed a scientific reasoning ability assessment tool based on high school physics.The research includes the following:First of all,the paper combines the academic results of various fields and many scholars.The connotation of "scientific reasoning ability" is clarified."Scientific reasoning ability" emphasizes personal ability,which is reasoning based on scientific facts and make explanations or get conclusions.According to the "Lawson’s Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning(LCTSR)" and "The Ordinary High School Physics Curriculum Standard(2017Edition)",the evaluation framework of scientific reasoning ability is constructed in physics.The scientific reasoning ability is divided into four dimensions,including conservative reasoning,proportional reasoning,controlled variable reasoning and hypothetical deductive reasoning.According to the complexity of reasoning,each dimension is divided into four levels: 1,2,3 and 4.Next,the design and development of evaluation tools,which is "scientific reasoning ability".It uses double-choice questions to measure students’ abilities in various dimensions and levels.The evaluation tool is edited based on the evaluation framework,and the evaluation tool is continuously modified based on the feedback of experts,teachers and students.And finally the prediction paper is obtained.Randomly draw samples to make predictions.Combine the Rasch model and Winsteps software to check the quality of the results.The use of feedback information to adjust the prediction paper again and finally get the updated version.The updated version is retested and the results of retested data showed that all indicators are well fitted.So far,the development of the evaluation tool has been completed.And then,use the assessment tool to investigate the development status of high school students’ scientific reasoning.The results are counted and analyzed using SPSS.According to the newly developed evaluation tool,the scientific reasoning ability of senior 2 students is investigated.It is found that the scientific reasoning ability of most students is at the middle and lower level.At the same time,factors such as gender,family and physical performance will have an impact on scientific reasoning ability.Finally,"Scientific reasoning ability" is of great significance in the development of scientific learning and literacy.The paper revolves around the concept of "scientific reasoning ability"."Scientific Reasoning Ability" is based on theoretical research.And then conducted research and obtained data results,and finally achieved the expected research goals.This research has made a useful attempt for the evaluation and diagnosis of "scientific reasoning ability".It also provides the indirect support for improving inferential ability and promoting scientific learning,and providing basis and direction for improving teaching practice. |
