With the development of information technology and the change of people’s educational ideas,seeking new teaching resources and teaching means and changing teaching methods have become the concern of many Chinese educators.As for literary texts,their literariness makes them favored by film and television producers,and film and television adaptations emerge in an endless stream,becoming a powerful supplement to literary texts.On the one hand,adaptation works retain the main body of literary text,on the other hand,they have a new creation beyond the text,which is more attractive to students,can adapt to the needs of classroom teaching,and can develop students’ critical thinking and aesthetic appreciation ability through the comparison of the two.In order to get more recognition from Chinese educators and improve its application in literature text reading teaching,the author believes that it is necessary to further explore and practice the feasibility and application strategies of using the comparison between the two in reading teaching.Therefore,this paper takes the comparative reading teaching of film and television adaptations and literary texts as the research object,combs the status quo and existing problems of relevant film and television works and current teaching applications,and puts forward corresponding strategies on this basis,and carries out teaching practice.The introduction part explains the origin and significance of this study from the current situation of the application of film and television works in Chinese reading teaching and the requirements of developing teaching resources.Then from three aspects of film and television resources and Chinese teaching,literature text reading teaching and literature text and film and television adaptation of the teaching research comparison of the status quo of the previous research,and the achievements and shortcomings of the conclusion.Finally,the research methods used in this paper are pointed out.The first chapter firstly defines the relevant concepts involved in this paper,clarifies the concepts related to literature texts,film and television adaptations,comparative teaching and other relevant concepts,and discusses the characteristics of film and television adaptations,which provides a basis for future research.Secondly,it puts forward the value of comparing film and television adaptations with literature texts in reading teaching.Finally,the relevant texts in and out of class as well as film and television adaptations that can be used in the middle school Chinese textbooks compiled by the department are sorted and summarized.The second chapter mainly through to the junior middle school language teacher and student to carry on the questionnaire survey and interviews,the current literature text compared with film tie-ins with teaching of the status of the investigation and analysis,and combining the results of the survey,summarized its existence in the teachers’ lack of system application skills,deprived of the principal position of the text,restrict students to imagine space problems and their causes.The third chapter is the focus of this paper.In view of the current application status,the author puts forward the teaching strategy of comparison between junior middle school literature texts and adapted works.First,focus on text,select film and television adaptation works;Second,clear positioning,to find the right combination of film and television elements;Thirdly,to clarify the differences and explore the complementary value of film and television works;Fourth,compare reading,deepen students’ emotional experience.The fourth chapter takes the teaching practice of Liu Grandma’s Visit to Grand View Garden as an example,discusses the similarities and differences between the text and Liu Grandma’s Visit to Grand View Garden in the 1987 TV series A Dream of Red Mansions,guides students to compare,think and communicate,and analyzes and reflects on the teaching effect.The conclusion mainly summarizes the research content of this paper,and points out that the innovation of this paper lies in grasping the similarities and differences between the text and the film and television works,and conducting comparative research from multiple perspectives,so as to cultivate students’ critical thinking and aesthetic appreciation ability.At the same time reflect on the author’s lack of experience caused by the content of the paper and practice teaching and other aspects of the deficiencies,need to be further explored in the future practice.
