With the development of the times, the Party and the State have put forward the fundamental task of education of "establishing moral integrity in cultivation",and put forward new requirements for further deepening the curriculum reform. The reform of the new college entrance examination has transformed the education model by changing the previous model of "3+ liberal arts comprehensive/science comprehensive" model to "3+3" or "3+1+2",giving candidates much greater independence of choice. At the same time,in terms of specific disciplines, new curriculum standards have also been promulgated, introducing subject core literacies, changing the original curriculum structure and content, and also setting new requirements for curriculum implementation and academic quality assessment. The cultivation and evaluation of core literacy require context. This education reform emphasizes the role of context. The geographical test questions use context as a carrier to carry the content of the examination to evaluate students' geographical knowledge and problem-solving ability. The test situation is a platform built to examine the cognitive construction and literacy performance of the subjects in various types of examinations at all levels. It is built around a certain theme and created through text, diagrams and other forms, including problem-solving information, problem tasks, and expression of propositional intentions. This study selects the geography test question context of the college entrance examination as the research object, formulating the analysis mode of the geography test question context from five aspects: context source, context background, situation type, information presentation mode, and context level. It analyzes the characteristics of the new college entrance examination geography test context design and its Value orientation,in order to give play to the guiding and leading role of the exam questions in geography teaching. The conclusions of the study mainly include the following points:In terms of the characteristics of the test situation, the test situation is mostly derived from the daily life situation and is closely related to the students' life;it shows the following characteristics: there are most physical geography situations and fewer regional development, resource environment and national security situations;the situational background s are mostly "local" and the medium and small-scale contexts have an absolute advantage;the context is mainly presented in the form of "text plus map";the content to be examined is integrated into the context of the test questions, which is more readable. The value orientation of the geography questions of the new college entrance examination is mainly reflected in the four aspects : "implementing morality and fostering people, emphasizing value guidance","infiltrating subject ideas and highlighting subject values","moderate difficulty of the situation and continuing the tradition of propositions","various ways of presenting information and illustrated”.It is concluded that teaching in the context of the new college entrance examination should pay attention to subject ideas and infiltrate them into classroom teaching;attach importance to problem teaching and develop core literacy in problem solving and situations;develop the habit of using diagrams and improve students' ability to analyze diagrams;increase the proportion of situational exercises in small and medium-scale test questions in the usual exercises.
