Literacy is one of the most basic goals of Chinese education.In the era of digitalization and new media,the diversification of information expression and dissemination channels in life and work requires the goal of Chinese education to go beyond the traditional literacy based on narrow language,and to further train students to use multi-modal representations to achieve deep understanding Multiple literacy skills,including technical literacy,cultural literacy,and critical literacy.The research in this area in the domestic Chinese education circle is relatively weak,and the research on teaching design with new ideas and operability is especially lacking.This study uses the emerging multiple literacy teaching concepts in the field of applied linguistics abroad,and takes love as an example of the eternal topic of human beings to explore how high school Chinese teaching can cultivate students' multiple literacy skills.The main body of this article includes five parts.The first part clarifies the problems,ideas and methods of this research on the basis of literature review.Then it discusses the basic viewpoints and applicability of multiple literacy teaching view as the theory of multiple literacy teaching.In the third part,this research adopts the interview method and classroom observation method to carry out a case study on the love theme teaching in Ningxia M Middle School,in order to discover the actual problems in this aspect of teaching.On this basis,the fourth part is guided by multiple literacy teaching concepts,taking the theme of love as an example,to explore the teaching design of multiple literacy orientations.This includes the available resources of experience design,the design process and the redesign;it is divided into four teaching dimensions:situational practice(experience),clear guidance(conceptualization),critical analysis(analysis)and transformative exercise(application).This embodies the concept of learning based on design.The fifth part further proposes corresponding suggestions for the teaching innovation of multiple literacy orientations:changing teachers'concepts,broadening the multi-modal resources inside and outside the class,improving the ability of multi-modal integration,and effectively coping with cultural diversity issues.This research attempts to integrate foreign multiple literacy teaching concepts with Chinese teaching practice in my country.In theory,enrich the research on multiple reading and writing teaching concepts and the development of instructional design activities.In practice,take love theme teaching as an example to innovate classrooms through sensual and colorful teaching methods,and improve the sense of classroom interaction between teachers and students and students'learning enthusiasm.Enhance students' multiple literacy skills and establish healthy and correct love values.
