In March 2020,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the"Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on comprehensively strengthening labor education in primary and secondary schools in the new era ",which emphasizes that in addition to the compulsory courses of labor education,other courses combine with the characteristics of disciplines and specialties and are organically integrated into the contents of labor education.However,the present situation of labor education in subject teaching is not optimistic,and the value of labor education in Chinese subject has not been seen.With the popularization and use of the unified edition of Chinese teaching materials in the whole country,experts,scholars and first-line teachers have studied the compilation and use of new teaching materials from various angles,but there are few studies on labor education in the unified edition of junior high school Chinese teaching materials.The study first explains that labor education is the requirement of educational goal,and expounds the relationship between Chinese subject and labor education.This paper discusses the value of labor education in Chinese subjects from four aspects:cultivating labor values,expanding the way of labor education in Chinese teaching,containing labor education resources in Chinese works and enhancing the effectiveness of labor education.Using the text analysis method,this paper analyzes the selection of labor education works in junior middle school Chinese textbooks from the dimensions of grade,country,age,genre,unit and laborer image.There are some features in the selection,such as the uniform distribution of each grade,the large difference in the distribution of books,the bias of the works towards the nationalization,the embodiment of each age,the special strength of different genres,the emphasis of the unit distribution,the concentration of the image distribution,the male.image more than the female image.This paper points out the value connotation of the labor education works in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese teaching materials,excavates the labor concept of honor,equality and honest labor contained in the teaching materials,respects the labor,the labor achievement,the working people and the labor emotion of loving and working people,and the labor spirit of thrift,struggle,creation and dedication.Through the methods of investigation and research,taking the teachers and students in the T of H city as the object of study,and combining the survey data,this paper analyzes the teaching situation of the labor education works in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese teaching materials,and finds that there are some problems in the use of labor education works,such as teachers’ high recognition of labor education resources in Chinese teaching materials,teachers’understanding of labor education ways,most students’ recognition of the value of labor education and the positive factors that students prefer to receive labor education in Chinese subjects,teachers’ inadequate understanding of labor education,and lack of labor education in teaching objectives,And from the ideological understanding and teaching practice two levels to explore the causes of the problems.In the last part,some suggestions are put forward to improve the problems in the selection and use.It is suggested that the selection and compilation of teaching materials should enrich and update the image of workers and highlight the resources of labor education.In the teaching of labor education works,we should pay attention to renewing the educational concept,setting up the consciousness of labor education,excavating the contents of teaching materials,strengthening the combination of labor education design and listening,speaking,reading and writing.
