China has a vast land and many ethnic groups live in.Each ethnic group has made significant contributions to development of China;They constitute a great Chinese nation and create a splendid culture.The Chinese people's identification with the Chinese nation affects the cohesion of the people of all ethnic groups in China,so the study on cultivating the sense of the Chinese national identity has very important practical significance.For the country,cultivating the sense of Chinese national identity can better safeguard the reunification and development of the motherland and promote the unity of all ethnic groups.For high school teaching,cultivating students' sense of Chinese national identity can promote students' moral education and better complete the teaching task.For students,a strong sense of Chinese national identity can help them establish a correct national view and enhance their national and cultural confidence.High school history is a subject that is very helpful for students to enhance the sense of Chinese national identity.Through the study of Chinese national history and culture.Students can feel the cohesion of the Chinese nation by learning about the history and cultural knowledge of the Chinese nation,and form the sense of pluralism and unity of the Chinese nation,thereby establishing a strong sense of Chinese national identity.The study found that currently high school students have a good sense of Chinese nation identity,and students mainly rely on school education to understand the history and culture of the Chinese nation.However,history teaching and high schools don't attach importance to the cultivation of students' sense of Chinese national identity.It mainly reflected in that few activities related to Chinese national identity in school,history teachers' simple teaching content,and few activity and exploring courses related to Chinese national identity.There are many reasons for this situation,this study mainly starts from the perspective of school education.According to the study,the causes of problems are that college entrance examination lacks Chinese national identity-related test questions,the pressure of historical subject selection brought by the new college entrance examination reform,and the difficulty in learning history knowledge in middle and high schools' connection.Faced with these problems,the study suggests that measures should be taken from schools and teachers to develop Chinese students' sense of Chinese national identity deeply,and selects a lesson in favor of the Chinese national identity,proposing a teaching example for reference.In general,history in senior high school is conducive to the cultivation of students' sense of Chinese national identity.We should seize the advantages of the subject and enhance students' sense of Chinese national identity through school daily activities and daily history teaching,to cultivate talented people for modernization development of Chinese.
