| At present,VR technology has been widely used in military,medical,aerospace,architectural design,entertainment and other fields.It is also entering the field of education and teaching.Virtual reality laboratories have been built in many key universities in China,and VR technology has been regarded as the key content of teaching and scientific research.In tourism teaching,it is really a good way to organize field visits for students.However,due to the limitations of time,safety,distance and other practical conditions,it is often difficult to achieve.The traditional teaching method of "PPT+ blackboard" has gradually become insufficient for today’s classroom teaching of tourism.However,the application of VR technology as a new auxiliary teaching method in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching can alleviate such problems to a certain extent.Firstly,the paper gives a detailed description of the research background,research purpose and significance,research content and methods,the current situation of VR technology research at home and abroad and its application in teaching.Next,the elaboration was carried out combined with constructivism learning theory,behaviorist learning theory and constructivism learning theory.On the basis of these theories,through the questionnaire survey and interview method,this paper carries out the preliminary research on the application of VR technology in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching by means of online questionnaire survey for teachers of tourism service and management major in secondary vocational colleges,offline questionnaire survey for students of three secondary vocational schools in Rizhao and interview for teachers of three secondary vocational schools in Rizhao To understand the demand of VR technology applied in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching.By using the method of Educational experiment method,some chapters of the course "Chinese Tourism Geography" that are suitable for VR technology teaching were selected and VR technology was used as an auxiliary teaching method to carry out a teaching experiment for one semester in the secondary vocational school in Rizhao City.In the experiment,two tourism classes of grade 20 were selected as the experimental class and the control class.The experimental class adopts VR technology while the control class still used traditional teaching method.In order to expand the research sample and enhance the scientificity of experimental results,two grades of tourism classes from another secondary vocational college in Rizhao City was selected for VR teaching.Questionnaires were sent out and students were interviewed immediately after class.Through questionnaire survey,classroom observation,examination and student interview,the experiment results were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to verify the effect of VR technology in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching.In the experiment,exploratory factor analysis was carried out on the questionnaires filled in by students who had experienced VR teaching in two secondary vocational schools through the social statistical tool SPSS23.0 to analyze the factors influencing the application effect of VR technology.Finally,according to the results of the experiment and exploratory factor analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the application effect of VR technology in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching.The research results show that: the application of VR technology in Secondary Vocational Tourism classroom teaching has demand;it can improve students’ interest in learning tourism knowledge and classroom participation;it can help to create a relaxed and active classroom atmosphere,form a good teacher-student relationship;it can help to improve students’ academic performance;the influencing factors of VR technology application can be summarized as "learning motivation"," The usefulness of VR technology to learning","teaching content and learning interest","the ease of use of VR equipment","VR equipment satisfaction","technology maturity" and "teaching methods";It is helpful for students to better understand abstract tourism knowledge,improve learning efficiency;It is helpful to form the teaching mode of "student-centered" and "teacher oriented".Finally,the paper puts forward four suggestions: taking students as the main body,optimizing VR classroom teaching strategies;paying attention to VR pre class training and preparation,controlling classroom discipline;paying attention to the scientific rationality of VR teaching resources;strengthening multi-party cooperation,and jointly promoting VR construction.This paper provides a reference case for the application of VR technology in the classroom teaching of tourism in the secondary vocational schools.However,due to the limitations of experimental conditions and my own knowledge,a preliminary application of VR technology in the classroom teaching of tourism in the secondary vocational schools is just carried out.There are still many deficiencies in the research,which need to be further discussed. |
