Research On The Quality Assurance System Of Cross-border Higher Education In Australia

With the development of cross-border higher education,Australia has gradually established an internal and external coordinated quality assurance system.At present,China's cross-border higher education is still in the early stage of development,and there is no systematic quality assurance system.Therefore,it is necessary to study Australia's experience and measures in cross-border higher education quality assurance,and combine with the current situation of China's cross-border higher education to explore ways to improve China's cross-border quality assurance system.Using literature research method,comparative research method and case research method to focus on the assurance process of Australia's cross-border higher education quality assurance system.First of all,under a historical perspective,what has been reviewed is the continuous development and improvement of Australia's cross-border higher education quality assurance system,and exploring the reasons.In short,the development of Australia's cross-border higher education quality assurance system has three stages: germination and exploration,government intervention,legal restraint and national strategy.Secondly,it briefly analyzes the composition,operation mode and effectiveness of the external quality assurance system for cross-border higher education in Australia.Thirdly,Curtin University,Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Deakin University are selected as cases to conduct in-depth research,and elaborate on the practices of three cross-border higher education quality assurance models.Finally,relying on the above analysis,it summarizes the important characteristics of Australia's cross-border higher education quality assurance system,and combined with China's actual situation,it puts forward to the reflection on the quality assurance system of China's cross-border higher education in a targeted manner.Based on the above research,China's should improve the laws and regulations of cross-border higher education,formulate a cross-border education quality standard evaluation system,strengthen the characteristics of cross-border education quality supervision in colleges and universities,and build a cross-border quality assurance system involving multiple parties.
