As the most basic and important interpersonal relationship in junior high school,teacher-student relationship affects the mental health level of junior high school students,and has always been a hot issue in the field of psychology and education.Psychological quality,as the core quality of teenagers,has an important impact on their whole life,and it determines whether their physical and mental development is healthy or not.Junior high school students are in the rebellious stage of life,with great changes taking place both physically and psychologically.If students can't correctly understand and accept such changes,they will not be able to grow healthily.At the same time,there will be maladaptation in school,which will further affect the normal campus life and study life of students.Studies have shown that the teacher-student relationship has an impact on students'adaptation,and the psychological quality level of adolescents is positively correlated with their mental health.School adaptation is the external manifestation of psychological quality,and its level of adaptation is also affected by psychological quality.To sum up,it is necessary to understand whether psychological quality mediates the relationship between teacher-student relationship and school adaptation,thereby the consequence will be a support to further improve the teacher-student relationship,enhance the psychological quality of students,and then comprehensively improve the school adaptation level and promote the comprehensive development of students.Taking junior high school students in Lianyungang city as the research object,the study adopted different questionnaires,such as the relationship between teachers and students questionnaire,"the middle school students' psychological quality questionnaire(simplified version)" and"the school life adaptation questionnaire",to explore the relationship between teachers and students in junior high school,the psychological quality and the overall condition of school adjustment,as well as the relationship between the three and whether psychological quality plays a mediating role between teacher-student relationship and school adaptation.Through the research,he following results are obtained:1.The teacher-student relationship of junior high school students is above the average level,with significant differences in each dimension in gender,grade and source of students.2.The psychological quality of junior high school students is at the middle level,and there are significant differences in each dimension in gender and grade3.Junior high school students' school adaptation is above the average level,and there are significant differences in each dimension in gender,grade and student origin.4.The relationship between teachers and students,psychological quality and school adaptation of junior high school students are positively correlated.5.The three dimensions of conflict,intimacy and avoidance in the teacher-student relationship,as well as the three dimensions of adaptability,cognitive characteristics and personality quality in psychological quality significantly positively predicted school adaptation.6.Psychological quality plays a partial mediating role between teacher-student relationship and school adaptation.The relationship between teachers and students can directly predict school adaptation,and can also have an impact on school adaptation through the mediating role of psychological quality.
