In the context of promoting the internationalization of higher education and building a powerful country in higher education,the cultivation of academic ability is undoubtedly the core of graduate education and even higher education.In the process of prornoting the internationalization of higher education and building a powerful country in higher education,the postgraduate study abroad program is an important way.Therefore,under the new situation of the continuous expansion of the scale of overseas study visits,it is of great significance to discuss the relationship between overseas study visits and the academic ability of graduate students,as well as its influencing mechanism and effect on the academic ability of graduate studentsIn order to further explore overseas visitor in relation with graduate academic ability,this study based on 1068 electronic questionnaire survey data,using the measuring tool SPSS22.0 and Stata14.0 to data processing and operation,using the statistical methods of OLS regression model,in the academic ability of graduate students to go abroad to visit the three dimensions:the theory of cognitive ability,scientific research ability,practice ability comparative analysis,the influence of further study abroad to visit and study the relationship between academic ability,and the following empirical results:First,from the basic regression results,the experience of going abroad has a significant positive correlation with the academic ability of graduate students,and the original basic hypothesis is valid.Second,subdivide the academic ability of graduate students.There are differences in the influence of overseas visiting experience on the three subdivided dimensions of graduate students' academic ability,as well as in the subdivided dimensions of research ability.Third,subdivide the individual characteristics of overseas visiting students.From the perspective of graduate students' gender,the influence of overseas visiting experience on male and female graduate students' academic ability is different in subdivided dimensions.From the point of view of postgraduate subject category,the influence of overseas visiting study experience on the academic ability of graduate students of different subject categories is different in subdivision dimension.From the perspective of the educational level of graduate students' parents,there are differences in the influence of overseas visiting experience on the academic ability of graduate students in the subdivision dimension of parents' educational background.From the perspective of graduate school level,the influence of overseas visiting experience on the academic ability of graduate students in different levels of colleges and universities is different in subdivided dimensions.From the perspective of the residence location of graduate students,the influence of overseas visiting experience on the academic ability of graduate students is different in the subdivision dimension of the residence location.From the perspective of graduate students'personal English level,the influence of overseas visiting experience on graduate students'academic ability is different in the subdivision dimension of the number of English language certificates.Fourth,subdivide the study abroad whether there is a foreign tutor guidance.During the period of studying abroad,tutor's guidance has a significant positive influence on the improvement of the academic ability of postgraduates.Based on the theory and empirical analysis,for by increasing the visiting experience abroad to improve graduate student academic ability,from previous visits abroad visiting chance learning process management,to the late in the shortage of the existing appraisal aspect,the article puts forward several aspects of optimization Suggestions:(1)to expand coverage to visiting opportunities abroad;(2)broadening the visiting during learning content breadth;(3)Expand the depth of scientific research participation during the visiting period;(4)To refine the management of the learning progress during the visiting period of graduate students.
