In recent years, with the change of migration mode of migrant workers, the scale of migrant workers' children has been expanding.According to the data published in the "National Statistical Bulletin of Education Development(2013-2018)",the number of migrant workers' children who are in the national compulsory education stage has increased from 12.772 million to 14.240 million. With the expansion of migrant children's scale, academic researchers and the government pay attention to their education. As for the research on the education of children with migration, the researchers mainly focus on the enrollment policy of them, and there are a few academics articles about the education expectation of children with migration.Since the 1950 s,a large number of studies at home and abroad have shown that individual early education expectations have an important impact on their future education acquisition and career acquisition. As an important human resource in the future, migrant workers' children's educational expectations deserve our attention. At present, the research on education expectation in foreign countries is relatively mature, but the research on education expectation in our country starts late, and there are only a few related research results. The existing literature related to education expectation mainly focuses on teachers' education expectation and parents' education expectation, and there are only a few studies focus on the influencing factors of adolescents' self-education expectation, and the relevant research mainly classifies the youth groups through household registration, and compares the differences of educational expectations between urban and rural youth. At present, only a small number of scholars pay attention to the impact of migration behavior on the education expectations of migrant workers' children, and study the mechanism of the impact of migration on the education expectations of migrant workers' children. However, there is no literature to explore the mechanism of the impact of migration on the education expectations of migrant workers' children from multiple perspectives at the micro level of the family. From a theoretical point of view, the research on the impact of migration on the educational expectations of migrant workers' children will help enrich the research results in the field of educational expectations in China, and enrich the research results in the field of migrant workers' children. From a practical point of view, the research on the impact of migration on the education expectations of migrant workers' children can not only provide a reference for the country to formulate education policies related to the children of migration, effectively cultivate the human capital of the future society, but also provide a reference for migrant workers' families in the aspect of training their children, help them understand the mechanism of the impact of migration on their children's education expectations, improve their parents' family education competence, and provide reference for their family education decision-making.As far as the children themselves are concerned,it is helpful for their self-development to understand the relevant research in the field of educational expectation.Based on the basic theories of pedagogy, educational economics and economics, and based on the data of China's family tracking survey in 2018,this paper uses PSM model to study the impact of migration behavior on the educational expectations of migrant workers' children, and explores the mechanism of the impact of migration behavior on the educational expectations of migrant workers' children from multiple perspectives at the family level. The results show that the migration behavior has a positive effect on the self-education expectations of migrant workers' children, which has no significant difference in gender, but the proportion of boys in the children with migration is significantly higher than that of girls. The effect of migration behavior on the educational expectation of migrant workers' children in primary school is stronger than that in junior middle school.Compared with the left behind children, the proportion of migrant children expectation of higher education increased by 18% approximately.Migration affects the education expectation of migrant workers' children through many ways, such as parents' education expectation, family per capita income and parents' concern for children's education.Children migration will enhance parents' education expectation, stimulate the increase of migrant workers' family per capita income, strengthen parents' concern for children's education consciousness, and improve the family cultural atmosphere.According to the conclusion of this study, this paper suggests that we should actively carry out parent education and training activities to improve the competency of parent education;set up new special education funds subsidies to improve family income and ensure girls' access to quality education;set up a consultation platform for migrant workers,so that parents of migrant workers can effectively grasp their children's moving time.
