As a measure of students' learning and diagnosis of the quality of education and teaching, the status of the Academic Test For The Ordinary High School Students has been improving in recent years.According to the requirements of the new round of education reform,Guangxi Academic Test will be linked with the college entrance examination. The importance of learning examination is obvious, and the research on the fairness of examination has become more important. This paper takes the data of Guangxi Academic Test as an example and mainly studies the fairness in the academic examination. This paper tests the fairness of the test questions,so as to guide the preparation of the test questions and the evaluation after the test.In this way,we can further guarantee the fairness of the examination, ensure the basic rights of the examinees, and promote the development of Guangxi Education. In this paper, the mathematics subject of the 2019 Guangxi Academic Test will be chosen.First of all,the basic descriptive statistical analysis of multiple choice questions is carried out,and the difficulty and discriminative power of each question are calculated according to the classical test theory.Through the analysis of the data,it is found that the overall item is relatively simple, and the overall difficulty is relatively low.The difficulty and discriminative power of some questions are different for boys and girls,so there may be gender differences.Secondly, this paper uses Rasch model to analyze the differential item functioning(DIF)of each multiple choice question.Use Conquest software to do DIF test on sample data. The results show that there is sex DIF in some subjects, but the DIF effect of different subjects is basically offset,so it is judged that there is no sex DIF effect in this test. While analyzing the data, this paper also found other problems in this test, such as the setting of multiple choice questions is too simple, and it is hard to distinguish the candidates with higher ability. In the end, some suggestions are put forward for test preparation and evaluation, and the direction of further research is pointed out.
