Objective: Through the traditional strength training and functional strength training,this paper makes a comparative study on the fitness effect of fitness students,compares the different effects of the two strength training methods on fitness effect,and provides a certain theoretical basis and practical experience for the optimization of fitness training effect.Methods: In this experiment,40 students majoring in fitness guidance and management in Sichuan Media College were divided into control group and experimental group,the students in the control group were trained in traditional strength,and the students in the experimental group were trained in functional strength.Stage 1: Training adaptation period,cycle 4 weeks,3 times a week Training time 1hour,training 3 groups,interval 60 seconds.The second stage: training improvement period,cycle 8 weeks,the number of training times per week,training time,interval time are the same as the first stage,the number of exercise groups increased to 4groups,the number of exercises and load in the training improvement period has a certain degree of improvement.Before and after the experiment,the test subjects were tested,including body shape index: chest circumference,waist circumference,hip circumference,thigh circumference,upper arm circumference;strength quality index:maximum muscle strength(push-up,squat,hard pull),muscle endurance(push-ups,pull-up,hand-to-hand squat);body composition index: basal metabolism,body mass index number,body fat rate,skeletal muscle rate.Results :1.The influence of traditional strength training experiment on body shape,strength quality and body composition.(1)Body shape index: chest circumference increased 1.3%,waist circumference decreased 1.9%,right thigh circumference increased 2.9%,all had significant difference(P<0.05).Gluteal circumference increased by 1.2%,left thigh circumference increased by 3.5%,left upper arm circumference increased by 1.9%,right upper arm circumference increased by 2.5%,all of 0.01).(2)Strength quality index: the weight of lying push increased by15.3%,the weight of squat increased by 14.9%,the weight of hard pull increased by16.3%,A significant difference was found in the number of push-ups,16.3%,7.6% and21.4%(P<0.01).(3)Body composition index: basic metabolism increased 0.5%,there was significant difference(P<0.05).Body mass index decreased by 2.4%,body fat rate decreased by 0.5%,skeletal muscle rate increased by 2.0%,all had significant difference(P<0.01).2.effect of functional strength training on body shape,strengthquality and body composition before and after the experiment.(1)Body shape index:waist circumference decreased by 2.0%,present significant difference(P<0.05).Hip circumference decreased by 0.7%,with significant difference(P<0.01).chest circumference,thigh circumference and upper arm circumference were not significantly different(P>0.05).(2)Strength quality index: the weight of recumbent push increased 7.9%,the weight of squat increased 8.9%,the weight of hard pull increased 8.9%,the number of push-ups increased 13.1%,the number of free-hand squats increased 13.2%,and the number of pull-up increased 25.2% all had significant difference(P<0.01).(3)Body composition: The basal metabolism increased 0.8%,there was significant difference(P<0.05).Body mass index decreased by 5.7%,body fat rate decreased by 1.8%,skeletal muscle rate increased by 1.4%,all of them had significant difference(P<0.01).3.compared traditional strength training and functional strength training experiments.(1)Body shape index: There was no significant difference in waist circumference(P>0.05).Both thigh circumference and upper arm circumference were significantly different(P<0.05).A significant difference was found between chest and hip(P<0.01).(2)Strength quality index: horizontal push,squat,hard pull,push-ups,bare-handed squat,pull up all have significant difference(P<0.05)).(3)Body composition index: There was no significant difference between basal metabolism and body mass index(P>0.05).Body fat rate and skeletal muscle rate were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusion :1.Both traditional strength training and functional strength training have significant effect on reducing waist circumference,but the traditional strength training is better than functional strength training in increasing chest,hip,thigh and upper arm circumference.2.in improving the maximum muscle strength,the effect of traditional strength training is better than that of functional strength training.Functional strength training is better in improving muscle endurance in traditional strength training.3.in improving basal metabolism and reducing body mass index,the training effect of the two strength training methods is not good or bad.In reducing body fat rate,functional strength training is better than traditional strength training.In improving skeletal muscle rate,traditional strength training is better than functional strength training.
