Curriculum is the core of university education,and curriculum is the superstructure of professional education,which determines and guides the teaching activities.In the 21 st century,the media ecological environment is changing with each day,especially the emergence of social media such as the two micro ends,which has completely changed the original media ecological pattern,and the traditional curriculum must be adjusted or even changed in the new environment.In China know online sports news as keywords retrieval,a total of 1251 papers of sports journalism with a total of 95 papers,for sports journalism major teaching reform in the curriculum reform and research is less,the training objectives,curriculum setting,such as how consistent with the age,the real produce marketable sports specialized personnel research system and perfect enough.How to adapt the trained talents to the changes of the international news and communication talent market should make corresponding adjustments to the existing curriculum of the professional sports news education.As an integrated interdisciplinary major,sports journalism has strong practical characteristics of journalism and communication and theoretical knowledge of sports humanities and sociology.Therefore,it is necessary to build an interdisciplinary knowledge system,keep up with the development of The Times,and adjust the curriculum according to the needs of social development.This paper selects 8 Chinese universities and 5 American universities for the comparative analysis of the curriculum of sports journalism.It is hoped that it can provide some Suggestions for the curriculum reform of sports journalism in China.The main body of the paper is divided into three parts:The first part is an overview of the research,which summarizes the development and research status of sports journalism education in China and the United States.The comparative analysis is carried out from the two dimensions of training objectives and curriculum setting.It mainly compares the characteristics and differences of training objectives,general education courses,professional courses and practical courses between the two countries.The second part,through comparative analysis,leads to the reflection on the training objectives and curriculum of sports journalism education.The different orientation of the training target reflects the different value orientation of the target,the functional orientation of the subject and the different understanding of the essence of the curriculum.The differences in curriculum Settings between China and the United States lead to the consideration on which core courses should be set for sports journalism majors and how to adapt to social development and the trend of application-oriented undergraduate reform under the background of media convergence.The third part is the conclusion and Suggestions,and through the Chinese and American college sports professional training objectives,curriculum setting of comparative analysis,combining with the social environment and the demand of sports journalism major development in our country,concludes the professional sports curriculum reform in China need to change the following three ideas: first,change the evaluation standard of talents and cultivate sports news talents who can adapt to the new media era;Second,based on the current situation of the curriculum resources of the college,promote the grading of the general education system;Third,improve the core curriculum,improve the knowledge elements of application-oriented undergraduate talents.
