"Whole-book reading" emphasizes perception and understanding of individual to literary works as a whole.High school students are more exposed to single works and excerpts.Meanwhile,their perception and understanding of the whole works need more guidance from teachers.Combined with the requirements of "new curriculum standard" for the central literacy system,it’s helpful to develop the whole-book reading for Chinese teaching in senior school to improve students’ Chinese ability,and it is also necessary to develop the teaching content.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standard in senior school and the objectives,contents and characteristics for teaching of the whole-book reading,the current situation for teaching of the whole-book reading in senior high school are analyzed,the main problems existing in the whole-book reading in the process of teaching and the causes of the problems are discussed by the paper.Starting from the theoretical research of receptive aesthetics,three theoretical viewpoints of receptive aesthetics are used,which is"horizon of expectation","appealing structure" and "fusion of horizons" respectively.Then specific teaching strategies of reading the whole book are put forward,and practices and improves the above strategies in teaching.Finally,the paper reflects on the whole-book reading in teaching,and considers the problems that should have more attention in the application of receptive aesthetics in the whole-book reading of Chinese teaching in senior high school based on the theory of receptive aesthetics,then the gains and losses of the whole-book reading in teaching are summarized according to the teaching feedback.The main research methods of the paper are literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis respectively.Based on the summary of the whole-book reading and the current situation of the research on the theory of receptive aesthetics,the introduction of this paper points out the research significance and methods by using the theory of receptive aesthetics to guide the whole-book reading of Chinese teaching in senior high school.In the first chapter,the main theoretical points of receptive aesthetics are described.In this chapter,the theory of receptive aesthetics are discussed combined with the teaching purpose and content of the whole-book reading.In the second chapter,taking an ordinary high school as an example,then the current situation,then the existing problems and the causes of the whole-book reading in teaching are analyzed based on the facts.In the third chapter,it pays more attention to the strategies and practices of the teaching of whole-book reading in senior high school based on the three main viewpoints of receptive aesthetics.The fourth chapter is the teaching reflection after application of practice,which points out the direction of teaching practice in the future.The whole-book reading has become an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school.Applying literary theory to the teaching of whole-book reading,which is a direction of Chinese reading teaching.Developing the teaching activities of whole-book reading in the Chinese classroom of senior high school is conducive to improving the students’ comprehensive Chinese literacy and to better carry out the teaching activities of Chinese reading.Meanwhile,it is helpful to the Chinese teachers’ use of relevant theoretical knowledge to improve the quality of reading teaching. |
