Empathy is a psychological concept,which is widely used in the clinical treatment of psychological aspects.Many thoughts in our traditional culture also have the shadow of empathy.In recent years,empathy has been introduced into the teaching field.In the aspect of teacher-student relationship,empathy is used to promote the in-depth communication and exchange between teachers and students.In the aspect of emotional education,the relationship between emotion and cognition has been paid more and more attention,and empathy has been introduced into subject teaching to assist students in cognition.The author thinks that we can introduce the psychological concept of empathy into the field of poetry teaching in Chinese subject,guide the students to transfer their life experience and emotional experience to the reading of poetry text,feel the emotion of the author,understand the expression of the author,so as to have resonance and enrich their inner feelings when reading the poetry text.This paper expounds the application of empathy in Chinese poetry teaching in senior high school from the following parts:First,the concept of "Empathy","poetry teaching" and "poetry teaching under the theory of empathy" is analyzed.Through the research and interpretation of the concept of "Empathy",with the help of the relevant practical results of psychology,this paper discusses the application prospect and necessity of empathy theory in education and teaching;starting from the particularity of poetry as a language symbol,this paper analyzes the structure of poetry,expounds the characteristics of poetry teaching,and finally summarizes several situations of empathy in poetry teaching.Second,explore the necessity and theoretical basis of using empathy in poetry teaching in senior high school.According to the Chinese curriculum standard of senior high school,this paper discusses the role of empathy in students' aesthetic appreciation,emotional experience and individual reading,and expounds the value of empathy in guiding the poetry teaching of senior high school;according to the expression of empathy in traditional literature theory and Davis's theory of literary empathy,it looks for the theoretical support of introducing empathy into poetry teaching;according to the heart of poetry appreciation This paper discusses the role of empathy in the intuitive stage,the understanding stage and the re creation stage of poetry appreciation,and explores the relationship between empathy theory and poetry appreciation.Third,the actual investigation of the front-line teachers and students on the understanding of empathy and the use of empathy theory in classroom teaching.Through questionnaire survey,personal interview and other methods,this paper sums up and analyzes the problems existing in the application of empathy theory in the process of poetry teaching and the reasons for the problems.Fourth,from the three aspects of teachers,students and teaching process to explore the strategies of empathy in poetry teaching in senior high school.Teachers should prepare for the occurrence of empathy from three aspects:text interpretation,emotional grasp and emotional transfer;students should improve the ability of empathy from two aspects:accumulation of empathy experience and "decentralization";the occurrence of empathy in the process of poetry teaching can be deconstructed into three parts:foreshadowing,occurrence and feedback.The author explores the strategies of empathy application from these three parts.Fifth,according to the empathy strategy,select several classic teaching texts to practice and reflect on the poetry teaching in senior high school.
