Spatial competence is a more concerned topic in the field of spatial cognition in today's society.As an important part of spatial competence,mental rotation ability and spatial visualization ability also become important dimensions to measure students'spatial ability.However,it is found in the research that as a golden stage in the development of students' spatial abilities in middle school,students' spatial abilities are generally weak,and training methods and methods are lacking,which directly leads to obstacles to students' learning related courses.Based on this,this study starts from the plasticity of students' mental rotation and spatial visualization ability,and uses Dolin Nielsen's reverse thinking learning process model as a guide to design the corresponding 3D printing learning activity process,and finds problems in teaching practice,Through teaching effect analysis,teaching implementation suggestions are given to provide guidance and help for high school 3D printing education.First,the author elaborated the background and significance of this research,and put forward the problems that need to be solved.It summarizes the current research status and research trends of mental rotation ability and spatial visualization ability at home and abroad,describes the research methods and research ideas of this study,defines the core concepts of 3D printing,mental rotation ability,and spatial visualization ability,and guides The related theoretical basis of this research is explained in detail.These contents have laid a foundation for the further design and development of the learning activity process.Secondly,the author designed and developed a 3D printing learning activity process based on a reverse thinking learning process model.The details are as follows:The first step is to design a 3D printing learning activity process based on the reverse thinking learning process model by referring to Dolin Nielsen's reverse thinking learning process model.The second step is to learn from existing 3D printing The course content,combined with the characteristics of 3D modeling software,designed a 3D printing course based on the reverse thinking learning process model.The third step is to explain the use of related software.Next,the author uses a quasi-experimental method,and the control group conducts traditional 3D printing course teaching,and the experimental group uses 3D printing course teaching based on the reverse thinking learning process model.The design of the quasi-experimental quasi-experiment for the non-peer-to-peer control group was conducted for one semester in Xi'an A Middle School.In the implementation process,the experimental group used 3D printing learning activity process based on the reverse thinking learning process model to carry out teaching,and timely improved the teaching content based on student feedback;and carried out teaching evaluation through student interviews and classroom observations.Then,the author analyzes the effect of course implementation.The specific analysis includes the following three points:First,on the basis of guaranteeing reliability and content validity,the paired sample T test method is used to statistically analyze the results of the psychological rotation and spatial visualization of the students,and the results are analyzed Explanation;Secondly,combined with the interview data of the experimental group and classroom observation data of the control group,analyze and explain the impact of the 3D printing course based on the reverse thinking learning process model on student interest and learning attitude;thirdly,from the perspective of gender The statistical analysis of the data of the experimental group and the control group of the students before and after the test was made and explained.At the same time,on the basis of data analysis and the reflection of course implementation,the author gives suggestions for the design and implementation of 3D printing courses in high schools based on the model of the reverse thinking learning process.Finally,the conclusions are as follows:(1)Compared with the traditional 3D printing course,the 3D printing course based on the model of reverse thinking learning can significantly improve the mental rotation ability and spatial visualization ability of high school students;(2)phase Compared with the traditional 3D printing course,the 3D printing course based on the reverse thinking learning process model can better cultivate students' learning interest and good learning attitude;(3)compared with the traditional course,the 3D printing based on the reverse thinking learning process model The course is more significant in promoting the spatial imagination of boys than girls.
