Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,The party and the country attach great importance to the moral education of the younger generation,and put forward higher requirements for strengthen the ideological and moral construction of young people and cultivate the comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,mental,and labor.The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has made major strategic plans for strengthening ideological and moral development,and stressed the need to raise people's political awareness and moral standards,foster appreciation of fine culture,and enhance social etiquette and civility.Middle school students are the future and hope of the motherland,and shouldered the important task of building the motherland.Therefore,it is particularly important to strengthen the moral education of middle school students,which is was related to the future development and long-term stability of the country.With the deepening of reform and opening up and the deepening of participation in economic globalization,China's society is facing its own internal changes and the challenges of the external environment,which has brought a certain impact on the moral education of middle school students and produced some new contradictions and problems.Therefore,we must pay attention to these problems.At the same time,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,which means that the goal,content and characteristics of moral education for middle school students have new changes,which means that the strategy of moral education for middle school students should be adjusted.The aim of this paper was to focuses on the new problems faced by the moral education of middle school students in the new era,following the ideas of putting forward problems,analyzing problems and solving problems.The thesis starts from five parts to study the moral education of middle school students in the new era.The first chapter is the introduction part,which focused on the background and significance of this research,combined the research status at home and abroad,summarized the research ideas,methods and innovation points,and these researches would find a theoretical foothold and space for the research of moral education of middle school students in the new era.In terms of significance,in the context of the new era,strengthening moral education for middle school students is an inevitable requirement for achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,an important guarantee for the implementation of the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education,and an inherent need to improve the core qualities of students.The second chapter mainly discussed the theoretical basis and significance of moral education for middle school students in the new era.In terms of theoretical basis,it includes Marxist classic writers' thoughts on youth moral education,Chinese traditional culture's thoughts on youth moral education,and Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao,and Xi Jinping's thoughts on youth moral education.The third chapter mainly analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by the moral education of middle school students in the new era.The aspects of globalization,socialist market economy and the development of network information technology were used to analyze the opportunities and challenges of moral education for middle school students.The fourth chapter is the content and characteristics of moral education for middle school students in the new era.The moral education of middle school students in the new era has the characteristics of inheritance,timeliness,openness.The main contents include socialist core values education,ideal and belief education,Chinese excellent traditional culture education,mental health education,and ecological civilization education.The fifth chapter discusses the strategy of strengthening the moral education of middle school students in the new era,mainly from the principles,methods and paths.This chapter mainly discussed the principles of orientation,the principle of student development,the principle of gradual progress and the principle of coordination in the moral education of middle school students in the new era,as well as the adoption of theoretical education method,practical experience method,interactive communication method,example education method and penetration education method,and from the full play of the role of the main channel of ideological and political theory courses,make full use of the role of new media,build schools,society,family collaborative education model and middle school students to strengthen moral self-cultivation and other aspects to explore the realization path of middle school students' moral education in the new era.
