Children's literature is closely related to Chinese teaching in primary schools.It is not only an excellent resource for language learning,which can cultivate children's rich imagination,but also can help shape children's perfect personality,humanity,characters,and the children's spiritual growth as well.It has a subtle effect on children's development.Under the vision of the new curriculum and requirements of cultivating children's moral character and virtue,the study of children's literature teaching is of practical significance in primary schools.This paper mainly includes four parts:the introduction,the analysis of the selected texts of children's literature from the textbooks in primary school edited by the Ministry of Education,the current teaching situations,and teaching strategies of children's literature.The first part is introduction.This part introduces the background of the study,and expounds the relationship between children's literature and Chinese teaching in primary schools.This relationship is mainly reflected in the following two aspects:first,children's literature is one of the important resources of the Chinese curriculum in primary school.Second,the function of children's literature is similar with the primary school's Chinese curriculums.The second part provides an analysis of the selected texts of children's literature from the textbooks in primary school edited by the Ministry of Education.Based on the statistics of the characteristics and rules of the selected texts,the author gives an exploration of the genre and theme of children's literature in the primary school.The third part is the current situation of children's literature teaching.Based on the questionnaire survey and teachers interview,this paper summarizes the current situation of children's literature teaching and finds some problems in teachers' teaching concepts and teaching methods.From the perspective of teachers' teaching concept,teachers pay too much attention to the moral education function of children's literature,and ignoring its unique aesthetic function.Children's literature also has instrumentality and humanity,but it emphasizes on the instrumentality too much,and ignores its humanity meanwhile.Some teachers study the children's literature works from the perspective of adults,and ignoring children's own interests.The teachers' teaching methods do exist the following problems:the teachers are lack of literary accomplishment,can not have rich interpretation of children's literature therefore.In the process of teaching,some teachers ignore the style of children's literature,fail to grasp its characteristics,and can not conform to the rules of style teaching in the course teaching.In terms of teaching methods,the teaching methods is very fixed and single,thus the class teaching is not active and flexible.The fourth part is the countermeasure analysis.According to the problems in teaching,this paper discusses the methods and strategies of teaching Chinese children's literature in primary schools.There are two aspects:teachers' conversion of educational concepts and teachers' improvement of teaching methods.Through the study of this paper,I hope to start from practice and children's literature theory,for primary school Chinese teachers to provide some reference for children's literature teaching.I want to contribute to the teaching and research of children's literature in primary schools.Lastly,I want to make Chinese for children in primary schools and education for children.
