| With the development of information technology,more and more people realize that it is not enough to grasp the theoretical knowledge of mathematics.It is important to solve practical problems in life on the basis of the knowledge learned.Mathematical modeling is based on the practical problems in life.It enables students to acquire knowledge and develop their abilities in the process of solving problems.This learning method adapts to the needs of social development,and has been paid more and more attention by many people.With the proposal of core literacy,cultivating students’ mathematical modeling literacy has become the teaching goal pursued by educators through various stages of mathematical learning.As one of the six core literacy,mathematical modeling plays an important role in cultivating students’ innovative ability,practical ability and mathematical application ability.Number series occupies a very important position in high school mathematics.It is a part of the compulsory entrance examination and a good carrier of mathematical modeling.It is very meaningful in theory and practice to study how to cultivate students’ mathematical modeling literacy through the teaching of number series.Firstly,through theoretical research methods,this paper sorted out the research status of mathematical modeling at home and abroad,the connotation of mathematical modeling,mathematical modeling literacy,teaching design and related contents of sequence,and searched for the requirements of new curriculum standard for mathematical modeling activities,the requirements of new curriculum standard for mathematical modeling teaching design,the subjects suitable for mathematical modeling in senior high school and the relevant information on the evaluation of mathematical modeling.Based on the theory of mathematics,meta-cognitive theory and constructivism,this paper establishes the theoretical foundation of this paper.Then,according to the problems found in the practice of organizing students to carry out mathematical modeling activities during their internship,the author considers that mathematical modeling knowledge,mathematical modeling ability and mathematical modeling cognitive emotion play an important role in the formation and development of students’ mathematical modeling literacy.Starting from the teaching contents and teaching objectives of the standard series,and combining with the influencing factors of mathematical modeling literacy,this paper studies the relationship between the high school series and the mathematical modeling literacy.Through the analysis of the related requirements of the new curriculum standard for the series and the influencing factors of the mathematical modeling literacy,it is concluded that the high school series can cultivate students’ mathematical modeling literacy.Next,it is closely around the cultivation of students’ mathematical modeling literacy.The aim of mathematical modeling literacy is to put forward a series of teaching strategies based on mathematical modeling literacy,that is,creating life-oriented situations,stimulating learning interest and cultivating mathematical ability;advocating inquiry-based teaching,giving full play to the role of students as the main body;paying attention to the study of thinking methods and promoting the development of mathematical thinking;combining various teaching approaches,improving mathematical modeling literacy comprehensively to provide a series of teaching.Finally,following the teaching strategy based on mathematical modeling literacy,two teaching cases are selected for the purpose of cultivating mathematical modeling literacy to enrich the case study of cultivating students’ mathematical modeling literacy. |
