The logarithmic function is not only a compulsory part of college entrance examination,but also widely used in mathematics,navigation and chemistry,so it is very important for students to understand and master the logarithmic function.However,due to the abstraction of the logarithmic function,it is a new type of function for senior high school students,which is difficult to learn.Therefore,it is very meaningful to study the understanding level and influencing factors of logarithm function for senior high school students.Based on the theory of SOLO classification and evaluation,this study divided logarithm function into three dimensions: concept,monotonicity and application,and establishes a horizontal framework for the understanding of logarithmic functions.Combining the learning situation and the law of cognitive development of high school students,a test volume that reflects the level of understanding of the logarithmic function of high school students is compiled,and a questionnaire for investigating students' non-intellectual factors is designed.This research is to test and investigate 168 senior one students in a high school in Xinxiang City,Henan Province,Using Excel and SPSS 20.0 to analyze the data,we get the following points:The understanding level of logarithmic function of senior one students.Firstly,high school students have a higher overall level in understanding the concept of logarithmic function;Secondly,the overall level of high school students' understanding of the monotonicity of the logarithm function is not high;Thirdly,the level of understanding of the application of logarithmic functions is generally low;Fourthly,significant differences were found in the understanding level of logarithmic functions between key classes and ordinary classes;fifthly,there is no significant difference in the understanding level of logarithmic function between boys and girls.The factors that affect the understanding of logarithm function by the senior students.Firstly,there is a correlation between students' non-intelligence factors and their understanding level of logarithmic function;Secondly,students' learning performance in mathematics affects their understanding of logarithm function.Based on the above research results,analyze the reasons and put forward the following suggestions: Firstly,appropriate use of multimedia teaching to motivate students' learning motivation;Secondly,focus on basic knowledge and build a knowledge network;Thirdly,pay attention to the infiltration of mathematical thinking and methods,and enhance students' awareness of application;Fourthly,increase teaching hours and improve computing ability.
