| As a comprehensive "portrait" of people from all over the world,China’s international image reflects the level of understanding of China’s economic status,political system,and traditional culture by other countries.Discussing it will help to further grasp the pulse of the international community,understand the concerns of various countries or regions on many elements of our country,and is of great significance to further enhance our country’s comprehensive national strength.In the new stage,all aspects of our country have been greatly developed,but the construction of international image has fallen behind to a certain extent.Moreover,as a very important part of national interests,international image is counterproductive to our country’s foreign policies and actions by influencing international people’s cognition,emotions and attitudes towards our country.It is very helpful for us to follow the strategic plan to carry out our work and protect our own interests.Therefore,We need to study the problems and solutions encountered in the construction of China’s national image.In 1978 and 2012,as the node of China’s international image development,the history of my country’s international image development was divided into three parts.The national image of each country in the first stage is characterized by being brand new,independent and like making friends.And the second stage is open,development and integration.The third stage is stable,confident and pioneering.The overall trend of the three stages is toward a more open,enterprising,and positive development.There are many driving factors behind this change and development,including the continuous consolidation of the material foundation brought by economic development,and the internal encouragement of traditional culture and advanced concepts.The increasing discourse power in the international public opinion field and the environmental support brought by the changes in the international society.However,the promotion of these factors has not made the development of our country’s international image and other social aspects synchronized.When some deep-rooted problems remain unresolved,new phased problems have appeared before people.In detail,the problems facing our country now include the inherent prejudices formed by historical memory and ideological differences,the strength of international public opinion is weak,insufficient public diplomacy,and poor network security protection.Among them,poor network security protection has become the most characteristic of the current era.Currently,new methods,new channels and new tools for information production have emerged,so at the level of consciousness and technology It poses new challenges to the construction and optimization of our country’s international image.Although these problems hinder our country’s international image work and other related work,they are also good opportunities for our country to discover and solve problems in the work of international image construction.Therefore,we may as well combine the times.Feature make some thoughts and make some suggestions.On the basis of solid strength,we can actively exert the basic effects of cultural soft power,continue to explore the national spirit,develop the national cultural industry,and build a defense line of national consciousness.It is possible to continue to exert efforts in the international public opinion field,cultivate powerful "microphones" between the government and the private sector,implement media localization strategies,and use self-media to actively prevent the " spiral of silence " in the international cyberspace.It is also possible to focus on the object and subject in public diplomacy,strengthen the classification of communication objects,and strengthen the subject’s sense of responsibility.It can also rely on the talent team and the information technology industry to realize dynamic supervision of the international image. |
