A Study Of The Chinese Communist Party's Policy Towards Taiwan Since The Founding Of New China

Taiwan is the sacred territory of the People’s Republic of China and it is an indispensable part of the motherland’s family,but the the Taiwan question is a pain in the hearts of the Chinese people.The formation of the Taiwan question has a profound historical background.All in all,the Taiwan question is China’s internal affairs.Solving the Taiwan question is a glorious historical task shouldered by the Communist Party of China.Since the founding of People’s Republic of China,the CPC has put forward a number of policies in the Taiwan question,forming a set of policy system that has the characteristics of times,shows the power of truth,it is effective and real.This paper explores the origin and essence of the Taiwan question,reviewing the Taiwan policy of CPC since 1949,has deeply explored the internal logic of these policies,and show the situation and tasks of Taiwan affairs in the new era.We can draw the basic experience and inspirations in the Taiwan policy of CPC.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly argues the background and significance of this topic,a literature review on Taiwan policy of CPC,the research methods and innovations of this paper.The second part clarifies the origin and substance of the Taiwan question.Taiwan has always belonged to China in history,but it has suffered a lot in modern times.Taiwan became a colony of Japan,and it separated from the motherland again due to civil war.The Taiwan question was interfered by foreign forces,it is a historical and practical issue.The third part is briefly reviewed the Taiwan policy during the revolutionary war times at first,is to reflect the continuity and integrity of the Taiwan policy of CPC.Then it introduced Taiwan policy before and after 1978,it has collectively painted a clear path for the evolution of the Taiwan policy of CPC:from the war to t peace,put out the“one country,two system”policy,towards maturity and stability in21^stcentury.The fourth part introduces the new policy and challenges of the Taiwan question in the new era.The work on Taiwan is facing a series of new changes in the situation of China,international and Taiwan.Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Taiwan question is the guide in the new era.The fifth part is the analysis about the Taiwan policy of CPC since 1949.It points out that these policies have firmness,continuity,flexibility and initiative,would be influenced by the world,the mainland and Taiwan island.It has some achievements and experiences in Taiwan policy of CPC over the years.The sixth part is the conclusion.Reviewing history is to show the future,and to draw important inspiration in the future.The Taiwan question will be resolved under the Taiwan policy of CPC,the reunification of China and the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation will be come true.
