As the five permanent members of the United Nations,China's attitude and policy on participating in UN peacekeeping operations has gone through the evolution process from "cautious and limited participation" before the 21 st century to "active and active participation" after entering the 21 st century, and then to the current "active and deep participation".Since the beginning of the 21 st century,China's attitude and policy towards UN peacekeeping operations have changed significantly. This change is reflected in the establishment of the office of peacekeeping affairs by the Ministry of national defense in 2001.Moreover,on the occasion of the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations in 2015,the Chinese government issued "six major peacekeeping commitments" on the issue of UN peacekeeping. This marks the change of China's attitude and policy towards UN peacekeeping operations from "active concern, limited participation" to "deep participation, active troop contribution".Today, the scale of Chinese peacekeepers participating in UN peacekeeping operations continues to expand and the material input continues to increase. In addition,China has actively promoted and participated in the reform of UN peacekeeping operations and the construction of UN peacekeeping mechanisms, and actively supervised the formulation and implementation of UN peacekeeping policies, forming a set of mutually promoting, interacting and benign paths to participate in UN peacekeeping operations.China's active participation in UN peacekeeping operations is conducive to changing the phenomenon that some superpowers control the voice in the traditional UN peacekeeping system. Finally, the change of China's perception of UN peacekeeping operations is in the same direction as the evolution of UN peacekeeping system.China's active participation in UN peacekeeping operations is conducive to the international community's properhandling of the relationship between peacekeeping and peace building, and also injects new impetus into UN peacekeeping operations.Based on the analysis of China's attitude towards UN peacekeeping and the practice of sending troops to participate in UN specific peacekeeping operations from2001 to 2015 and from 2015 to today, this paper explores the changes and reasons of China's attitude and policy towards UN peacekeeping operations in this period, and expounds the characteristics of China's participation in UN peacekeeping operations and its role in UN peacekeeping operations The role of the system.
