Experimental Performance And Application In Comprehensive Printmaking

Since the 1980s and 1990s,with the in-depth development of reform and opening up,the cultural environment has rapidly recovered its vitality,the establishment of fine arts colleges has gradually risen nationwide,and the emerging edition of comprehensive printmaking has also been recognized and developed to gradual maturity,and has come to the forefront of artistic creation.The comprehensive printmaking set the characteristics of other types of prints in one,and its production method is to mix the use of various engraving and printing techniques such as convex,concave,flat and hole on the same plate,or to take different plates to do repeated printing on the same screen,and the whole creative process is based on the creator’s continuous exploration and cognition of experimentality.This paper explores the various possibilities in printmaking creation and the broad space for artistic expression by analyzing the experimental representation of materials,techniques,and concepts in comprehensive printmaking artworks.Through the author’s analysis of works of art and combined with his own experience of creative practice,he demonstrates the expression law of "experimentality" in the creation of comprehensive printmaking and the value of artistic creation,and ultimately hopes to clarify the role of experimentation in the creation of comprehensive printmaking,as well as the unique aesthetic expression in the process of comprehensive printmaking appreciation.
