Explore The Ideal Beauty Expressed By Schema Construction

Through Piaget’s definition of schema and Gombrich’s sense of order theory,this paper attempts to explore the law of schema construction in line with human visual perception-the pursuit of pleasure between boredom and clutter.The construction of this schema is based on Gombrich’s sense of order theory.The ideal beauty falls off the transcendental divinity inherited by Giotto and Piero Francesca and the strong appeal of realizing beauty,and carries on the exploration and pursuit of material language.When this kind of inheritance and development of tradition is combined with painting techniques and materials to produce an ideal state,it attempts to approach the "ideal beauty" said by Winckelmann.This paper is divided into three parts to discuss the demonstration of ideal beauty in the transformation of schema.Firstly,it introduces schema construction and ideal beauty,discusses the relationship between schema construction and ideal beauty with several specific examples,and then leads to Giotto.Then it analyzes the formation background of Giotto’s painting.Secondly,using Gombrich’s sense of order theory as the cornerstone,this paper discusses the regular schema in Giotto’s works and the role of this schema in Giotto’s ideal beauty.Thirdly,by learning from various expression laws in Giotto’s art,combined with the author’s creation and the relationship between materials and techniques and ideal beauty,this paper explores this ideal beauty.
