Nakae Toju was a Confucian and educationist in the early Edo period,and the founder of the Japanese Yangming School.Not only has it left a deep mark in the history of philosophy,but also its educational thought has had an indelible influence on the later generations of Japan and modern education.In his educational opinion.He established the Toju Shoin,which not only reflects the success of rattan tree as an educator to integrate his philosophy with education,it also became the germ of the thought of educational equality and the teaching method of teaching students according to their aptitude in the Edo period.At the beginning of the Edo period,the shogunate in Nakae promoted Zhuzi School and took Zhuzi School as the official school.In this trend,Nakae returned home from the vassal state and founded the Yangming School of Japan,which established the Toju School,advocate the importance of moral education.The purpose of this paper is to study the moral education view of Nakae and the related practice of moral education in Nakae College.First of all,it introduces Nakae’s early theory in the Zhuxi period,and secondly,it introduces Nakae’s theory after being exposed to Yangmingism’s related theories,and on the basis of education advocated by Wang Yangming’s Chinese Yangmingism,the moral teaching method of“Unity of knowledge and practice”put forward in this paper.Based on his works“Weng Wen da”and “Xiao Jing Enlightenment”as the theoretical support,to explore the people can become a sage of “To conscience”theory.At the same time,Nakae proposed a new interpretation of the word “People”in his translation and interpretation of the book of filial piety,which gave a new meaning to “People”.He believed that “People,people also”,thus expanding the education of the audience class to everyone,from which we can see that everyone else is equal in moral education.Based on the idea of filial piety and the idea of conscience,Toju Nakae puts forward the theory of moral subject for every student.At the same time,through the study of its enrollment audience,classroom teaching,after-class activities and school regulations,this paper tries to find out how Nakae does not stick to the paper program,and carries out the most important thought of“Knowledge of things”in Yangming School,put it into practice at the college and really align what you think with what you do outside.Finally,we focus on Nakae’s indoctrination of students’ moral concepts in the classroom through book knowledge,and his “Power chant”.The concept and humanism of equality in Nakae’s moral education thought can be seen from the practice of “Workshop discussion”in which teachers and students can communicate with each other equally while teaching,and the practice of encouraging and rewarding system based on students’ interests. |
