Objective: This research aims to adopt a tracking research design from the perspective of positive development and family systems, focusing on the depression of migrant children after following their parents to a new environment, and the core question of how depression develops in migrant children before and after COVID-19.First,on the basis of longitudinal research, analyze the development trajectory categories of migrant children's depression.Secondly,to explore the predictive effect of the total score of family resilience and its various dimensions on the development trajectory of potential categories of depression in migrant children.Methods:(1)In Research 1,migrant children from grade five or six in a primary school in Nanjing,Jiangsu Province were selected as the research subjects.Using the method of convenient sampling, and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale for Children(CES-DC)and the Children's Family Resilience Scale were used for three times in the class. The T1-T3 measurement time points are: December 2019,February2020,and March 2020.Finally,a total of 110 valid tracking data were collected, and the data was analyzed through SPSS23.0 and Mplus 7.0 to establish the Latent Growth Mixture Model analyzes the group heterogeneity of the development of depression in migrant children and its categories of development trajectories.(2)In Research 2,based on the potential category identified in Research 1,the demographic variable(gender)and the total score of family resilience and its various dimensions were included as predictive variables to investigate its predictive effect on the development trajectory of potential category of depression in migrant children.Results:(1)The results of Latent Growth Mixture Model showed that there are two categories of development trajectories, namely high-risk continuous group(initial higher levels of depression, and presents the trend of relatively stable high level, accounting for 11.8% of the total participants),low-risk relief group(the initial level of depression is low,and then gradually decreases, accounted for 88.2% of the total participants).(2)The results of binary logistic regression showed that gender had no significant predictive effect on the development trajectory of potential categories of depression in migrant children(OR=1.07,ps>0.05).the total family resilience score of the high-risk continuous group was significantly lower than that of the low-risk relief group(OR=0.97,p<0.01),and according to the descriptive statistical results of family resilience on the total score in the two potential categories,it was found that the mean family resilience of the low-risk relief group was greater than that of the high-risk continuous group, and low-risk relief group initial level below the high-risk continuous group. It can be comprehensively concluded that the flow of the family resilience total score, the higher the more children tend to be at the low-risk relief group, the lower family resilience total score flows, the children were more likely to be in t the high-risk continuous group. In each dimension of family resilience, logistic regression results showed that family communication and problem solving, family connectedness and utilizing social and economic resources were not included in the model. But maintaining positive outlook was significantly lower in the high-risk continuous group than in the low-risk relief group(OR=0.89,p<0.01),that is,migrant children with higher scores of maintaining a positive outlook are more inclined to be in the low-risk relief group.Gender has no significant predictive effect on the development trajectory of potential categories of depression in migrant children.Conclusions:(1)There are two potential categories in the development trajectory of migrant children's depression, which are high-risk continuous group and low-risk relief group. Therefore,in the school to carry out the work of mental health and crisis intervention program, need to identify belong to high-risk continuous group, and accordingly give them enough attention and concern,to maintain their physical and mental health.(2)Gender has no significant predictive effect on the developmental trajectory of potential categories of depression in migrant children. The total score of family resilience and the dimension of maintaining a positive outlook can predict the development trajectory of potential categories of depression of migrant children.Specifically, the higher the total score of family resilience, and the higher the score of maintaining a positive attitude dimension, the migrant children are more inclined to be in the low-risk relief group. Therefore,in the face of crisis or adversity, migrant children can be helped to establish positive beliefs and maintain a positive outlook in the face of crisis to enhance their family resilience, thus alleviating the occurrence and development of depression and other negative emotional problems, and protecting their healthy development.
