On Liu Tianhua's Influence On Liu Beimao's Erhu Creation

Liu Beimao(1903-1981)is one of the "Three Masters of Liu Family",the younger brother of Mr.Liu Tianhua,and a famous erhu performer,composer and educator in my country.After the death of Mr.Liu Tianhua,Mr.Liu Beimao inherited his legacy of "improving Chinese music" and made great contributions to the consolidation,inheritance and development of my country's erhu cause in the early days of erhu.In terms of music,Mr.Liu Beimao has been deeply influenced by his elder brother Liu Tianhua since he was a boy,and has been influenced by music.Under the guidance of Mr.Liu Tianhua,he laid a solid foundation for the creation of erhu for decades in the future,and was called "Liu Tianhua's best successor".The main body of this paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter,taking time as the clue,summarizes the influence of Liu Tianhua on Liu Beimao's thoughts,life,music and art.The second chapter starts from the main keynote of erhu creation and performance,and finds out the commonness and individuality from four different perspectives of creation technique,inheritance of technique,tuning and mode,and music thought,to explain how Mr.Liu Beimao inherited and expanded the road of "improving Chinese music" of Mr.Liu Tianhua.Finally,the third chapter is the author's opinion and thinking about "Liu Tianhua's influence on Liu Beimao's erhu creation".Hope that through this article to show "liu brothers" in the national music reform efforts made by on the road,and led by Mr Tian-hua liu,Mr Liu north alum,playing in the creation of erhu startup period,teaching achievements,such as understanding the national music master outstanding contributions to the cause of national music,and called for the erhu performer and music lovers do to inherit and carry forward and spread of traditional music.
