Art comes from reality,and different social backgrounds will produce artistic works with different themes.Social reality is the soil for artistic creation,and artistic creation needs to find the seeds of inspiration in the soil of reality.Therefore,the collection of materials is the first step for artistic creators to take seriously.With the expansion of new materials collection channels providing us with great convenience,more and more art creators will give priority to the most convenient way to integrate materials,but ignore the judgment of authenticity and integrity of materials.This undoubtedly brought great principle error to the subsequent creation work.In addition,how to collect and organize the material into artistic elements is an important skill designers should have.The differences in material application methods are caused by each designer according to their own creation habits,theme and form of works,creation and production difficulty,And the artistic techniques used for the material are also more stylistic,such as the complete use of the copy of the material,or the partial use of the material,or the use of the material to break the variation and so on.Therefore,in combination with my major,the author believes that the research on material and character image design is a subject worthy of further study.
