Research On Ansu Army In Northern Song Dynasty

An Su Army of the North Song Dynasty,located in the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain,the jurisdiction is equivalent to today's Xushui County,Hebei Province.Although the terrain is flat,the internal and external rivers are closely distributed,which has an important impact on the construction of ponds.In the Northern Song Dynasty,An Su army was a border area,only 15 miles away from the Baigou River on the Song and Liao border.It had an important strategic position and was the important place for the Northern Song to resist the Liao army.For military purposes,the Northern Song Dynasty was founded here in the sixth year of Taiping Xingguo(981)to resist the invasion of the Liao army.Before the treaty of Chanyuan,the Song and Liao wars occurred frequently,and an Su army played an important role in blocking the Liao invasion to the south.In the meantime,the Northern Song Dynasty stationed the forbidden army here,and the famous generals Wang Neng,Yang Si and others stationed the an Su army.With the transformation of song and liao relations and the change of Hebei liao policy,An Su army to pay attention to border construction and regional development,first of all,using its geographical advantage,to pond yet,shop,repair city,field,discuss field trade and many other functions to meet the border demand,the defense construction complement each other,make An Su army area become one of the important links in Hebei border systems.Secondly,the relatively stable social environment in the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty made the population growth of Ansu army area,thus promoting the development of agriculture,economy and education.Taking Ansu army in the Northern Song Dynasty as the research object,and taking the military defense system of Hebei as the clue,we tries to explore the construction,geography,military,population,economy and other aspects of Ansu army from a micro perspective,and comprehensively explores the main situation of Ansu army in the defense system of Hebei.The first chapter first examines the evolution of the Northern Song Dynasty,and analysis its strategic position based on the geographical environment.The second chapter focuses on the study of Liao defense construction,and also discusses the garrison situation of Ansu army.The third chapter focuses on the selection of military officials and regional development,analyzes the population development and changes,and discusses the trade between Song and Liao.The article finally summarizes the position of An Su army in liao defense and the influence of regional development.
