Interpretation Practice Report Of "Carbon Neutrality 2060" And Green Finance Forum From The Perspective Of Eco-translatology

This report is based on a Chinese to English consecutive interpretation practice for the third forum on "Carbon Neutrality in 2060" and Green Finance.The author selects three-dimensional transformation method in Eco-translatology to analyze the result of the interpretation,and divides the problems into three categories,namely,the improper use of words and sentences in the linguistic dimension;the improper interpretation of vocabulary with Chinese characteristics in the cultural dimension;the lack of information explicitation in the communicative dimension.To solve these problems,the author puts forward corresponding solutions,including merging redundant expressions,integrating scattered sentences and classifying the intensive phrases in the linguistic dimension;contextual interpretation and semantic amplification in the cultural dimension;and supplementing implicit information and preposing important information in the communicative dimension.With these methods,the revised interpretation is more suitable to the ecological interpretation environment.The method of three-dimensional transformation also expands the post-interpretation analytical perspectives for other interpretation learners and interpreters.
