Arrangement And Research On The Different Texts Of The Turpan Manuscript Erya

Erya is the first exegetical work in the history of Chinese linguistics,and also the first book to study the meaning and meaning of words.As one of the thirteen important classics of Confucianism,Erya occupies a pivotal position in the academic history.Different versions of Erya appeared in the long spreading process,especially the excellent version of Tianlu Linlang Song Dynasty.Now the unearthed manuscripts of Erya in Turpan are compared with this one,and the edition of Tong Zhitang and Jing Biantang Kai Chengshijing are taken as the participants to collate and study the unearthed manuscripts of Erya in Turpan.Based on this,this paper sorted out the remnants of Erya written in Turpan and studied the classification of its variants.The remnants of Erya written in Turpan co-existed more than 1,100 scriptures,namely,explaining "Tools","Musical Instruments","Seasons" and "Geography",and 109 variants were cleared out by verifying them with the Song dynasty version and the Tang Shijing.From the perspective of linguistics,it can be divided into ancient and modern characters,different characters,interchangeable characters and normal and common characters,and from the perspective of literature collation,it can be divided into four kinds: normal and corrupting characters,off text,derived text and wrong text.Through the study of the different versions of Erya written by Turpan,we find that the most important feature of the different versions is the randomness and irregularity of the writing: 76 out of 109 different versions belong to the writing error,accounting for70% of all the different versions;The Turpan version was probably copied in the middle and late Tang Dynasty,which can supplement and correct the handed down versions.For example,there are eight groups of ancient and modern characters,and all the variants in the Turpan version are in the present character,which is the same as the original version of Lu Deming's "Classic Interpretation Text","this is the same",which can prove that his variants recorded by Lu Deming do exist;The Turpan script can also provide materials for the study of common characters,the formulation of standard policies of language and characters,the compilation of large dictionaries and dictionaries,and the corrupted characters that violate the construction principle and evolution trend of Chinese characters can also be used as a reference to determine the correct characters.There are still many editions of Erya,and most of the studies on the variants between the handed down editions focus on the engraving and printing versions,sorting out the classification of variants and studying the causes of variants.With the publication of new unearthed documents,the research on the unearthed handwritten texts has gradually emerged.This paper focuses on the differences between the unearthed documents from Turpan and the handed down versions.There are three main characteristics: First,Erya is the unshakable ancestor of the dictionary,and it is an important reference book for interpreting words and definitions;Second,Erya excavated from Turpan is a new material for collating edition and edition age,collating and researching characters.Third,Erya unearthed in Turpan is a handwritten edition,which provides us with a direct reference to the deformation of characters,so as to facilitate the study and use of its written edition value.At present,the research on Erya is relatively weak.Through the collation and research of this paper,we hope to provide a new perspective for the research of Erya.
