Eduard Vuillard is one of the famous representative painters of the Nabil.The main subjects of his paintings are his relatives,friends,the corner of his studio,the small scene by the window and so on.Vuillard's work always make viewers feel warm,emotional and even radical in its ·expression.Vuillard constantly absorbed the nutrients from Japanese Ukiyo,Impressionism,Post-Impressionism,Nabi and Symbism in his life,which made him constantly improve his works and move towards the direction he wanted to express time and again.Vuillard has been given many titles such as "interior painter","family painter" and so on,and his artworks have been called "painting tapestry".Vuillard had a profound influence on the later development of art,and on my graduation creation.This paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter expounds the social background of Vuillard's time and the inevitability of the formation of Vuillard's painting style;The second chapter divides Vuillard's creation stages in chronological order and analyzes the characteristics of his paintings in each stage.The third chapter,through the analysis of Vuillard's works,summarizes his painting forms and the use of color,tone and composition.The last chapter of this paper analyzes the influence of Vuillard's paintings on my creation from four aspects: the observation of life from an artistic perspective,the influence on the direction of my topic selection,the inspiration of composition and the application of color.
