Dance in the Desert,a yangqin song created by Wang Se,a young dulcimer teacher of the Central Conservatory of Music,in September 2015,is one of the outstanding works widely performed in recent years.Based on the characteristics of western music,the music shows unique musical images through rich rhythm and rhythm changes.As a popular modern yangqin song,"Desert Dance" won the Excellent New Work Award of the 3rd China Dulcimer Art Festival in 2016.Starting from the ontology of The Yangqin music Mowu,this paper focuses on the analysis of the harmonic texture,melody characteristics and rhythm changes of the music ontology,and makes a comparison with the traditional dulcimer music from all aspects of the music ontology,so as to clarify the innovation of the modern dulcimer in the creation and performance techniques.Through the analysis on the theoretical level of music,it will enrich the theoretical research of modern dulcimer works,strive to go deep into the works themselves,and provide theoretical support and help for the actual performance.
